Isn't this always been the way it worked? All the allocations in the same group and Stingrays, Z06's, GS's, etc. been constrained by what percentage each allocation can be?
There's one assembly line that can only handle a certain amount of each model based on parts shortages, how many of each model that can be run through without impacting the throughput of the other models, etc.
This could really suck for those of us that want a stingray. I can't see why any dealer, even the good ones, would not take a Z06 over a stingray.
Why? I've seen Stingrays sitting on dealers lots at MSRP. Plus there's been over 100,000 C8's produced to date. I can't see how anyone would be upset that a dealer could place a Z06 order.
What I've noticed is every single smaller dealer getting multiiple Z06's while the big dealers seem to be getting smaller numbers than they probably should... that's what I was wondering and it appears to be the case.
Oh, and that most the smaller dealers are asking $50K over while the big top 5 are at MSRP... you would hope that Chevy would give more Z06's to the big dealers because they are selling at MSRP and treating their customers right.
INTERESTING! Stingray chevrolet only got 38 Z06's, but got 339 Stingrays! ONLY 38 being the #6 dealer in the United States! STINGRAY CHEVROLET is getting the lowest % of Z06's!!

MATICK, #10, who only sold 199 C8's, compared to Stingray Chevy's 339, GOT 34!!! Z06's compared to Stingray only getting 4 more! WOW.
LOOK AT HOW MANY Z06's all these dealers are getting that are below Stingray Chevy's in Plant city! Seems to be a huge drop off when it gets to them...
