Default Performance Shops in Philadelphia area

Can anyone recommend a good C8 performance shop in the Philadelphia area?
I’m fine going to central PA, NJ DE and NY
Just want to find someone who’s worked on them and knows what they’re doing

I don’t have an answer, but I’d love to know if there’s a sticky thread or somewhere that lists out trusted shops. I’ve been looking around the Pittsburgh area and can’t find anyone who works on the C8 outside of some really shitty dealerships. I’ve been to three dealerships since the start of my ownership and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a Chevy again. They all seem to afraid of the C8 and have zero idea of what they are doing.

Not sure about the performance aspect, but County Corvette in West Chester specializes in Corvette work (duh...), if that helps.

Default Philly repair/performance shops

Second that referral for County Covette. Check their webpage. I'm a 20 year customer but only for my C2. My 2021 C8 Z51 will skip any upgrades I like it as is.

Complete Street Performance works on late model Corvettes. I used them for my C5Z; very knowledgeable and professional.

Fabspeed Motorsports are Corvette exhaust specialists.

I don't think I've been there before, but amusingly, I am dropping my car off one day this week to put my winter tires on. My father in law has used them for years on his old C5 and current C7.

ECS and their work is excellent . But I don't know if you're looking for just an excellent service Tech to handle your everyday Corvette services or a place to add performance or extra engine, exhaust and exterior add on stuff. If you want the best Corvette Tech in the Delaware Valley and that if your car has a problem then take it to Bryner Chevrolet in Jenkintown PA and ask for Steve Spencer. BTW I live in SW Florida and he's the best up there and has been for 20 years. People come from PA, NJ, DE and MD. Just my input. I miss him and their service down here in Florida.

Just got back from County Corvette. Dropped my car off to get my winter tires put in. Hadn’t been there before, but man that place is impressive!

Certainly looks like they could handle any type of performance work (plus they had the sign in the lobby)

I am going to have AWE (Horsham PA) install my exhaust setup.
mom going with their track cat-back, kooks headers and paragon sport cats.
The only hiccup is that they won’t install any cats that aren’t street legal. Paragon lists the cats as EPA compliant, and also doesn’t say they’re for off road use only.
Has anyone else had an issue getting aftermarket cats installed?
Apparently it’s a huge fine for the shop if they get caught installing off road exhaust parts.

I'm not an attorney, but if the MFG has certified the cats as EPA compliant, and the shop installs them according to the MFG specs, the shop cannot be held responsible for simply installing them... if the cats turn out to be non-compliant, it is on the MFG. A reputable shop will know which vendors to trust.

In most cases, a "cat-back" system should have no EPA issues, but is still subject to general code of business issues.

As an "end user", you cannot be held liable for EPA sanctions if you were misled by either vendor, but, caveat emptor, you may not necessarily get your money back.

If you commission a shop to install non-compliant "off-road" equipment, and are caught using them illegally on the road, then it's on you...

Basically, if you act in good faith with reliable responsible people, and communicate, you should be ok.

perfectly said!
I know they got into some other trouble with their ZL1 Link pipes which were cat deletes, but if I bring in my own cats and ask them to install, the repercussions if any should fall on me not them.

Looking at your website, you don't offer anything for the C8. ?

My Porsche has free-flow cats from NHP, installed by the PO, and I had zero issues passing the DMV test.

Doug is an owner at ECS and he and his crew do excellent work. They've been Corvette specialists for over 20 years. As Doug replied above they can "Handle any of your C8 needs from mild to wild"
It's worth it to give them a call
