I love these garage pictures. My wife and I built our "last" house and moved into it on 5/1/21. Instead of attaching a 3rd car garage to the side of the house I had my builder pour a 30x30 concrete pad, had a metal building built to match the house, and installed it right across our driveway from our two car drive under attached garage. The pros of my decision was it was much less expensive than the one bay attached garage, I can park my C8 in it along with my 2020 Silverado 2500HD, and I still have a lot of room for shelving to store my auto related stuff. The cons is that it's a metal building, there is no drywall so I can't hang things anywhere I want to, and it's like an oven during the summer.
Keep those pics coming!

Any photos of the house and garages?

Love to see these garage threads and everyone's ideas. FLORIDA SKY I love that Stude sign. I had a '63 Avanti R1 until about 5 years ago when I sold it. Here are a few shots of my detached garage out back of our house.

Wow. That is some man cave. Perhaps I should refer to it as a man castle

I was at Hobby Lobby today and they had all their wall art at 50% off including all their Corvette stuff, needless to say I took advantage of the savings.

2023 C8 of the Year Finalist - Modified
Wow those are all really nice garages, but gilbybarr - man you take 1st prize. I don't know if you have a microwave, fridge and toilet, but if you do, I would never leave that place if it was mine!

In response to your question, the garage is about 2,400 SF in total. The parking area is 44x42 with no poles or walls and can handle six cars and still leave me my "TV and seating area." It has a storage/utility room, an office and a full bath with shower, HVAC of course and a security system. Doors are extra wide and extra high. Ceilings in the parking area are 12' because I had intended to have a lift but the reality is, I will never do any work in there beyond washing or waxing a car (I have a floor drain area and hose bib inside). The signs I had been collecting over about 20 years and they took me the better part of four months to hang to my satisfaction, most are good reproductions but some originals. Floor is polyaspartic. My wife kids me I should get a bed out there.
WHat are the door dimensions?
Nice home. Really well-done

Love your garage! Whom did you order your garage floor from? I was looking at Race Deck. I'm looking to put down a floor in my garage for my new C8 that is scheduled for production next week. Please advise. Thank you! Eileen

The garage was new construction...the floor was done by a local company (franchise) called Tailored Living. Its critical that these floors be applied properly and that the floor be prepared properly...and you should have a moisture barrier below the concrete (which we put in during construction). No doubt you could find a local company that could do the same such work for you. The cost for all labor, materials and installation worked out to just about $4.00 per square foot (in 2018). You can compare that with your race deck and similar products. We also considered ceramic tile but with installation, it would have been about the same as I recall. Good luck with whatever your choice is.

Thanks for the complement. The overhead doors are insulated and are sized as follows: Single is 10' wide by 8' high. The double is 18' wide by 8' high. We have the exact same sized doors on the garage for daily drivers built onto the house. Door lift motors are wall mounted so they didn't end up in the center of our ceilings.

Damn. Nice garages! I just wanted to epoxy my floor before we moved in, but closing delays and running pretty much right up to the limit on HHG delivery timeline killed that. Now I have too much stuff in the garage to bother with it.

Rbacik, where did you get the door art? We are having new doors installed and that would be a nice addition.
I added a couple of additional pieces.

Melting Slicks
Had race deck for about 20 years and it worked great, just shy away from white or light colors as they will get dirty and it is really hard to clean them. Went with epoxy coating, great except for the first few days when the cured and the house stunk.
