All the vents being body color looks horrible. Looks spray painted.

Why? Because it is super easy to just apply some 3M film over those areas and make them look 100% like the carbon flash metallic version if desired. It is not so easy to try to cover the carbon flash parts to match the SBO or AO paint though.
Doing it all in body color makes it easy to go back and forth later should you desire to.
Removing the boomerang on the door also requires pulling the door panel apart from the inside, peeling back the seal over the window track area, etc. It's a mess. Really kicking myself for getting the carbon flash accents.

If I had to do it all over again, I DEFINITELY would have got my car SOLID BODY COLOR including all the accents. (except maybe the rear heat vents)

Also, the amplify orange in this pic looks almost pastel compared to sebring.

Amplify looks washed out compared to Sebring in these photos. And that sebring needs a carbon flash top to go with the nacelles.

I like both Oranges; my 2023 Vert which AO is in the running will have carbon flashed rims or black rims because my 2020 sure produces lots of brake dust and it is noticeable on my carbon flash rims and would be a nightmare on the silver painted one's. I will get the carbon flash top and nacelles, high wing and mirrors to break up all the Orange. i really don't like the rear grills or top tonneau grill painted body color. But I do like the front bar in front of the radiator painted body color.

I agree in that Amplify always looks washed out, but Sebring didn't exactly pop when it was cloudy. Body color accents look terrible. GM should allow body color boomerangs but keep the grills carbon flash.

Body-color accents look great. C8's busy external design already has many sharp angles and surface lines that are exaggerated by too many standard black plastic pieces. Body-colored trim calms the look a bit and improves the overall appearance of C8.

I think the amplify with body colored accents looks GREAT! I'm not really a fan of body colored accents but this looks really unique, in a good way. Nice cars!
