I am not sure if the same points due to engine location but these fit C8 oval jacking points :

It's actually a reflection in the black paint. I took a picture of mine installed with my smart phone with flash on, and got the same reflection. It made it look like a double thickness,
Here is mine.

The rear jacking points are much further to the rear than on the C7, because of the rear weight bias. It's very important to use the right locations:

Correct locations show below:

With my C6 I had hockey pucks with big eye bolts in them, locked in place nicely. At least three times I had left them in accidentally, and they got ripped out when I got low hung on something: rough pavement, up and over a small peak, something. I am NOT excited about leaving them in on the C8.

Cheap insurance in my opinion.....

Yes, furthermore they fit the C8 with the 5VM aero kit as well. I have these (in red) permanently affixed to my C8 and have absolutely no issues.

Assuming that the rubber ones cited in one of the posts above will actually work to eliminate any jacking damage it seems to make sense to just leave them installed. If one (or more) would ever get snagged on something I'm guessing it should just pull the pad out without causing any damage to the mounting point holes. Since they are so cheap it would be a good ida to buy two sets and install one and keep the other in the frunk or trunk in case one had been knocked off unknowingly and the car needed to be jacked up at a non-dealer location. Keep in mind I just got my C8 so don't yet have any direct knowledge on this subject but just going by what other have said here.

As for whether you need them at all, can you guarantee your car will always be service at a dealer? That there will never be a situation where you need service while on the road, with no dealer available? Shred a tire while travelling and need to go to a local tire store, for example?
Get the hockey pucks with an epoxied eye bolt. This way you can twist them in the frame holes and they are secured. I have used them for over 19 years on 3 diferent cars and never had an issue. They are inexpensive, work great and I do not leave them in. I keep two in the frunk with my tire plug kit and portable air compressor. My tire shop used them on my C6.

Or just use plain ol' regular hockey pucks... They work perfect.

Yes, nothing different about the hole size or otherwise. C5,C6, C7, C8 all the same for these.

Hole sizes have changed, gotten a little smaller over the years. I think they shrunk with the c7 or could have been the c6.

I know this because if you look at the pictures I posted above, I used a bolt and piece of a puck to lock them in. For one model, I had to get the drummel out to shave down some of the rubber to get it to fit.
