I was wondering if anyone has found and mounted a rear-facing dash cam in their C8? With seemingly more aggressive and uninsured drivers on the roads, it would be wise to augment the PDR with a rear-facing camera.

It would be even better to be able to run the rear-view mirror or back-up camera through the PDR. Maybe a future update?...

It'd have to be a hardware redesign. They're not physically connected to each other.

Yes, this would be a very good thing to have especially with aggressive driving disease that just seems to get worse every day.
Aggressive driving here is a serious problem as are the horrendous crashes that occur as a result of this narcissistic and in some cases criminal behavior.

Thank you for reviving this thread. I, too, would be interested in what others may have done. I attempted to implement Garmin Mini 2 and a Viofo A119 V3 dash cams, but the angle at which they mounted and the limited field of vision resulted in my returning both.

I stuck one to the upper inside of rear window and glare in sunlight makes it useless. It was a cheap one but thinking of moving to license plate packet.

I was disappointed, when after a good amount of searching, I couldn't find a license plate frame camera that records. Apparently, they're more for adding the back up feature.

I'd love to be told I am wrong.

Interesting video and product. I wondering about a mounting position for the rear cam on a HTC. I think just sticking it to the rear window would look somewhat cheesey but then again with the number of unhinged morons on the roads I'd consider a rear "dashcam" almost a must-have.
