Color choice
Opinions on C8 color choice? I’ve owned Pewter C5, Red C6, Black C7 and red C2. I like the Torch Red but thinking maybe something different. Narrowed it to the Torch Red, Arctic White it Silver Metallic. Opinions on looks and resale value?

Color won't affect resale value, IMO.
Check out ELB for a very nice color.
Of the three you mentioned, I'd go with silver as it's metallic. Neither TR or AW are.

They don't call it "RESALE RED" for no reason. ..
That said, "the little red Corvette" seems to me to be a bit cliched. Obviously I'm in the minority since nearly half of all Corvettes sold ARE red.
It all depends upon how much you A) Want to work to keep it up, and B) How much attention you wish to draw to yourself while driving. Red and Orange will draw eyes, Blue is rather neutral, White and Silver are like almost half of all cars on the road. No Green offered. Black looks great------for about 5 minutes.
I prefer to fly under the radar, but you're buying the car.
Flame suit on.

ELB was not on my radar ( AW, SF were) until I took a close look at a ELB C7 Z06. I wouldn’t change my choice for anything else, very happy with it for my C8.

Simple... black, BLACK, or B L A C K. Hides so much design gobble-de-gook.

How about the red mist. If it's a colt you're getting, how about a shiny black with a tan saddle.

Red Mist is simply a beautiful color and one that you might want to look into before deciding which way to go.

I always find it interesting to see the varied opinions here that are all perfectly valid. My first 3 Vettes were black on black on black. This one, I assumed I'd get black, but when I went to Kerbeck to check them out in person, I realized that I LOVE the design and nuance of the car, and thought it got lost on the black ones, so I decided to go with a color and black accents, to really showcase that stuff. That's what makes the world go round, I guess!

I am partial, but a red Corvette Red is always going to sell. If you have seen it yet, Red Mist is incredible.

Silver doesn't show dirt or scratches as easily as other colors and tends to blend in more easily (doesn't scream for attention as much). That's what I liked about my previous silver cars including a C4 Vette.
