Default Ron Fellows Driving School

Does anyone know if I am entitled to receive the certificate to go to the Ron Fellows Driving School in Nevada after having gone before with my C7 and now purchasing a C8?

To the best of my knowledge everyone who buys a new C8 will get the certificate, regardless of whether they have gone before.

I just got back from Spring Mountain on Saturday. What a fantastic experience! I just wanted to add that I don't remember actually getting a certificate. I just called to schedule and they look up your VIN number to confirm you are eligible. You have one year to go....

You don’t need to wait for a “certificate”. Call Darci at Spring Mountain and she can confirm eligibility based on your VIN#.

Just curious, at the basic class that cost $1,000 for C-8. Buyers, what is the maximum track speed that drivers can go? I get fainting spells over 150 mph!

I recently went to the class and we were on the 1.5 mile circuit. It’s not very long and you can hit around 120 mph on the straights. A very technical, and fun, course. Just not very high speed.

Don't see why you could not go again after buying another eligible car. Go and enjoy.

Nit sure what track you were on but we did not see 120! Was fairly disappointed as I’ve been there 3 times. I don’t know which track we were on. I do know they stated only 3rd and 4th gear which I did not follow. It was the track to the left of the classrooms.

I was on the East short course something around 1.5 miles long. This is from my PDR.

Main straight.

Top of the hill in the back.

IF you have taken C7 school, and you are comfortable tracking the car -- consider crediting the certificate towards Level 1 course.

With the new purchase of a C8, you'll get a $1,000.00 voucher toward the Spring Mountain school, good for 1 year.

I did level 1 in a c7 deal. I’d considered that and may do it with the 22 I just picked up. It’s $2500. For the $3500 I’d have in the trip lot of local hpde rental track time available including some brake pads and tires!

But certainly fun at sm too!

thanks Phil. I’m going to have to go back and look at my videos. I just don’t remember those speeds, honestly don’t remember 5th gear!

yes, you get the certificate and can go again with your C8 purchase. Speeds are generally 120's from the class I went to. Probably depends some on what course they run.

Going 1/17-18. Flying into Henderson on the 14th. In Vegas for a couple days, then off to Phrumph. Good way to learn your car.

You don't need a certificate, as long as you can provide your VIN. I visited them a few weeks ago, took possession of my C8 in mid-August, and am scheduling for late Feb, early Mar. The validate the VIN and you are good to go.

P.S. I've been to their school 3 other times back in '05/'06. Great place, great people, great instruction.
