Default Extended Warranty End of the Year Sale

I am going to throw a sale on all extended warranty sales for the months of November and December. I will sell plans at very little over my dealer cost to finish out the year!! I can't state what that is per forum rules so just email me with your VIN, exact miles and date of purchase if you got it used and mention you saw the sale in the Corvette Forum and I will respond with the pricing. Remember I have a Tire & Wheel Warranty also that MANY C8 owners have taken advantage of purchasing.

Can you provide some details on different plans offered? Components covered, mileage, duration, etc.

Has anyone found a plan that covers the HTC?

The plan is referring to the C5,C6 and C7 Convertible fabric top and the arms. The motors are covered in the HTC, call Claims/Customer Service: (877) 265-1072 and speak with them about it and have peace of mind. The exclusion list is not that long, 90% of it is wear and tear items THAT NO EXTENDED WARRANTY COVERS. Exhaust and emissions are covered from GM for 8 years and 80,000 miles, other items(carpet, paint, upholstery) are covered by no one nor should they be covered.

Dennis
I have a question about some nuances of the HTC coverage.
If a motor or sensor fails the HTC may need to be manually moved by cutting a hole in the headliner to access the manual mechanism. Would the headliner be covered in that instance?
How about a failed sensor that causes damage to linkages or other excluded components?

I sell these plans but don't administer the claims so again call the number I provided in the post and ask them your questions, they are the administrators of the plan.

Dennis, What is the difference between this plan you are selling, and the plan the dealer offers the day of final sale (pick up day)? Thanks

It is a 24/24 extension to the factory 36/36 and is more expensive than buying a 84 month extended warranty. About 80% of the dealers don't even offer it due to the price of it. Our dealership doesn't offer it.

I still am weighing between buying now, with car being just a few months old, or waiting until approximately 6 months before the B to B Chevy warranty expires, since they overlap. Dennis, if you could shed some light on this, that would be great!

The longer you wait the more the warranty will cost you, time and miles affect price so just a pure guess is wait till 6 months before warranty ends and double the prices in the chart I sent to you. 90% of my new C8 owners are buying a 84/56 or 84/75 thus getting 48 months more warranty. Less money doing that now than waiting and buying 48 months 3 years from now.

WOW
167 emails so far, keep them coming

Remember VIN, miles and date of purchase and if you could please put your name on the email and a phone number. I have had customers email me back wondering where there quotes are and using Outlook, its sends about 80% of my emails to the SPAM FOLDER and no one checks that.

Dennis, I am still confused. What is the possible reason for one to purchase a 24 month or 36 month contract on a recently purchased vehicle? The entire time is double covered by the factory warranty and the GMPP. So I extrapolate out and wonder the same. Plus your statement of buying the policy near the very end of the factory warranty would nearly double the cost. Some posters here have stated a slight increase in their experience. Please clarify.

Dennis, you sell a great product at a great price, I have purchased two policies from you in the past and plan on purchasing a third when my 2020 becomes two years old next October.

Those warranties are extensions if the factory one. They don't take place during factory warranty time.

I just try to save my customers $$$ and the older your car becomes(even a year old) it becomes a model year older for warranty purposes so pricing will go up. Not sure where you are coming up with 24 or 36 months plans, those plans are offered with more miles than the 36/36 due to a possible traveling salesman driving 20K or 25K a year. GM offers the 24/24 extension to the factory warranty buy you must buy it day of delivery and from the selling dealership of your car. I can tell you about 80% of the dealerships in the U.S. don't offer it since it is more money to buy it than buying a or 84 month extended warranty thus getting 48 more months of warranty(84-36=48). You wait 3 years(end of your warranty) your car is 3 years old, now it is 1 year old so warranty will cost more on a 3 year old car!! Those people that paid very little have put 1000 miles on there car in 3 years and pricing is based on how old the car is and how many miles. I tell them not to buy a warranty since you only drive 350 miles a year. These plans carry a 1 month and 1,000 lag period before claims are paid and it would take them 3 years to put a 1000 miles on it.
