Parking taking up multiple spots opinion
Arguing with my co worker, want the opinion of you guys.
If you park at a. Place. In the back, where no cars are, but you park slanted or in anyway to take up multiple spots, what's your thought

Multiple spots is just asking to get your car messed with. Unless you’re a truck pulling a trailer you should fit in one spot.

If you're way in the back, away from everyone, then no one would be parking near you, right? Parking across spots is more likely to get you attention, and not the good kind. My opinion is, park far from others in one spot = reasonable. Parking across two spots, in any situation = d-bag. Personally I've always parked my Vettes wherever there's a spot, the closer the better. I guess my laziness trumps my vanity :P

Remember, its a car not a church. We park in the north 40, but always inside the lines. It is the right thing the right way regardless of location. Too often, someone will park right next to us ignoring the dozens of easier to use spaces between us and the door. It is the herding principle. Some folks want you to make decisions for them. If you park there, you must know something they don't. So they park there too. Last, life is full of bumps in the road, we ignore the ones that should be. Ignored that is.

Parking across multiple spots is always a d-bag move. Always. You might as well put a big sign on your car that says "I don't GAF if you don't have a place to park, I'm taking two spots!"

Can't respond to your poll because: "Never . . . you might as well put a sign on it saying vandalize my car." is not provided as a choice.

If you park waay back in the outer limits, your car is ripe for getting vandalized. Doesn't matter then how you're parked. Went with A).

The real problem is you beg to have someone mess with your car, even if it affects no one. I have parked my Vette far out in lots in a single space and came out to some POS parked tight next to it. To us we believe our Vettes are super special, but much of the world sees them as just another car. I never take 2 spots simply to avoid some arsehole from f'ing with it.

Let me add to the count of D-Bag begging for trouble.

I park away, just utilizing one space. Besides a little exercise walking from vette to your destination may even do you some good.
If parking away isn't an option I will try to find an 'end' spot to the 'right' end of the parking lot. That way only one side of you car is exposed to door damage and you will be next to the passenger side of vehicle next to you since most pull straight in and most parking vehicles don't have a passenger, thus further reducing risk of someone slamming your door.

Yes, end space anywhere you can find one allowing you to back in as close as possible to the driver's side curb is the best play to reduce the probability of damage. A person parking next to you will probably park head in and a good chance of being without a passenger.

By isolating the car, it's already begging to get keyed, no matter the how it's parked. If OP is intent on multiple spacing, this ensures his success.

Unfortunately, when you do that your Corvette's nose is exposed to getting whacked because of it being low and out of sight to backing up vehicles parked opposite. You've got to 360° this parking deal for the least exposure. Never back in.

When I was going to college some d-bag used 2 spaces in the main campus crowded parking lot. There were spaces in the dirt overflow parking lot but he didn't want to park there. His car had all sorts of tacked on items, it looked like he owned stock in JC Whitney. But one of the spaces he was occupying was an end space. I parked my old beat up Honda Accord with my wheels on the line leaving a couple of inches between his driver's side and my car. At least I made him crawl in from the passenger side.

In all seriousness, probably better to have the nose hit than the rear end, which could damage the DCT mounted all the way at the back.
