DeLillo Chevrolet, Huntington Beach, CA- Anyone?
I'm getting closer and need a courtesy dealer to receive and do PDI that is trusted by the Forum guys here. You guys are a tough group, so figured a good resource to ask.
I'm in So Cal, so anywhere from Oxnard to San Diego would be fine with me. I'm using MM and Tommy gave me DeLillo in HB. I asked for a list of who they used, but maybe he sent that because of proximity,
Maybe they're great?
Has anyone used them for delivery?
Thanks,
Joe

Does not MM do the PDI prior to shipping? I bought mine from Hendrick and they PDI'd prior to shipping...fwiw

following this thread. I live in OC and will come to this situation as well. I would not mind picking up anywhere (even Norcal) as long the CD is good. My motivation for the CD is so I dont have to do the DMV dance with smog.

Hendrick took care of all CA DMV paper ...hmmm. Is CD strictly PDI?

The courtesy dealer does the PDI. The selling dealer never sees the car in the event of a courtesy delivery. Only when you have the car transported from the selling dealer does the selling dealer complete the PDI and handle any issues that may arise with the car before shipping directly to the buyer via transport.

I have a couple private posts and previous discussions about Paradise in Ventura, and Montebello Chevrolet (Thanks guys).
Just need to verify if MM still uses them after there filtering of CD dealers.
Yeah, as mentioned above, if CD it goes straight from the plant, so the CD dealer does the PDI.

My MacMulkin purchase of a '22 HTC was courtesy delivered by Scott Luttenberger Sr at Paradise Chevrolet in Ventura on Oct 2, 2021. I was 100% pleased with the PDI, courtesy delivery fee of $300 and amount of time doing the paperwork - 5 minutes! Positive, positive and positive experience and I would highly recommend and use them again. Have I made myself clear?

I used DeLillo when I did a CD for my 2015 C7. They didn't do anything special. Didn't fill up my tank, just had a few gallons in it. They got the job done. Did the paperwork and collected the tax and registration.

I like what I'm hearing about Paradise. I have friends up there, so not a bad way to show them the new car! So they take care of all the DMV crap as well? I have a vanity plate I ripped off the C7 a few months ago, which is still tagged until 6/22. Not that it goes towards the new costs, but I think it's legit still to transfer over.
Never did courtesy, but I'll call the guys at Paradise, and Montebello and get more details.
The "nothing special" at DeLillo doesn't encourage me to spend the extra 5-7 hundo.
Thanks Forum mates!

DeLillo charges $800 plus another $100+ for fees. Puts $15 gas in the tank (will fill it for $75).
Paradise is $300 plus $85 for fees. Puts 10 gal. gas in tank.
Both take care of all the DMV stuff (obviously you pay those fees and sales tax).
I've heard several good first hand reports about Paradise, don't know anything more about Dellilo. It's almost time for me to choose and MM named both as possibilities for my CD in an email just today. I'm going with Paradise for the above reasons, plus it is also much closer to me.

Are you saying that with a courtesy delivery to my local dealership, Chevy will direct ship the car to my CD dealer vs shipping it to my purchasing dealer?
When you ordered it through DeLillo, did you pay a markup or msrp?

My CD was through Delillo.
They were decent. Took care of me ok. I asked not to have the car washed and they honored that request.
CD cost $800. They put maybe a gallon of gas in the tank which I though was kind of pathetic for $800.
They installed the front splitter and front brake ducts. Checked the car over.
I've gone to them for oil changes and minor service. Seems like a decent dealer. Nothing outstanding or noticeably negative.

Yes, they have figured that out by now. My '22 Z51 brake ducts were installed correctly in that they left the rear ones [only for track use] in a bag in the trunk.
