It's $13,000 worth of mandatory fluff and puff Dealer installed options. Ask me how I know.
Of course, I tried getting on the list the first couple of days of September.
I promise you it's $13,000.
Chris doesn't return calls or answer the phone for the last week or so? Maybe as someone alluded to earlier it's because he's on vacation or something.
Lastly as of yesterday, I'm guessing it's not accurate now, they're telling you you'll have a car in June if you order this week. A 2022.
Of course I couldn't get an answer about how many allocations and deposits they have because that's privileged.

I'm #600ish out of 1300 with MacMulkin and expect to get one in 5-7 months. That puts newcomers on the list at about 12 months and most likely a 2023, not a 2022 model.

"Wait it out and buy a used Stingray @ close to MSRP when eventually the market is flooded with them from people desperate to pay for their incoming Z06s."
Yeah, but that won't be for another 4 years!

Every Z06 built is a Stingray that can't be built, as the capacity of the plant is limited. There will still be plenty of demand for Stingrays, including used ones, once the Z06 is coming off the line.

Hi guys, I went to a Chevy dealer today naively thinking I'd be able to at least see a C8. I haven't been car shopping in 6 years. I knew there was a semiconductor shortage, but I wasn't aware of the scope of it. I was quite literally laughed out of the building by an old guy with a hearing aid. He told me if I wanted a C8, it'd be 2025.
Is this accurate information? What's the timeframe for getting a C8 at as close to MSRP as possible?

To put it in perspective. In 2016 about 1/4 of all C7 sales were Z06’s. I get the impression 80% of the other forum’s posters are serial Corvette buyers who’ve spent the past 5 years planning on their C8 Z06.

Welcome to the current version of "reality." Apart from whatever any dealer tells you, ya might consider GTA if you find one on the street you like.
