A call to police saying a '94 Subaru wagon cut me off and waved a gun at me would have made his day.

It is unfortunate that our country has more than fair share of ugly douche bags who deserve to go to a far away black hole and never to return to earth.

Well, what a thread.
My comments are we allow DBs to obtain drivers licenses.
(Need skill test; car parking, clutch, uphill for example and I
suppose if no license they would drive anyway.)
Second they can vote.

You know I sometimes park my station car next to a Vette - I'm thinking I'm another Vette owner and I am protecting one side of his car for him/her. I was challenged by one C6 owner who became very apologetic after he challenged me for parking next to him. Once I told him about my Vette - it became obvious I knew enough about them once we started talking - he really ate his own crow. So now I have "My other car is LT1 powered" stickers on the side windows...

Yes, there are DBs EVERYWHERE...
sometimes the wind carches the plastic part where the Babys butt sits on and those carts can take off, seen it many times but that doesnt lessen your level of frustration.....

So I get out of the car and ask him what the hell? His response was "I don't care you have a nicer car you'll move". Absolutely dumbfounded and stunned to the audacity and level of narcissism this guy exhibited. Anyhow, I backed off as it's clear I have a lot more to lose than this sad sack. Anyone else experience anything of the sort? I'm still shaking my head...
I'm afraid that with all the "fancy/exotic" cars I've had, this car, BY FAR, has attracted a lot more douchebags and scumbags than any other.

But having said that, how would you know if it was a '94 Subaru vs. '93 or 95, for example. Almost seems like your story was made up.

Someday he's going to mess with the wrong guy that will knock the chip of his shoulder.

Taught my son to drive with a clutch and took his driving test with a clutch and passed the first time, trooper was impressed.

There are jealous people out there. It makes it worse when they hear people buying them for $150,000 or more. It is what it is.

I once parked my car in a hotel underground parking garage where I was staying- no designated or private spots. A "guy" left a note on my windshield saying I had parked in his spot - he was obviously crazy. There is no shortage of crazies in the world. Avoidance is the best advice -discretion is the better part of valor.

Kinda funny but that’s what my Silent Generation dad thought of his generation and referred to Boomers as “entitled hippies”. All in perspective I guess.

A picture paints a thousand words.
The Mustang represent the douchebag who parked his POS Chrysler a foot from my car. The other 2 cars represent the vehicles closest to mine in all directions in the parking lot. Protection or douchebag? 😀

😹
there’s a guy in a car group I’m a part of that drives a fiat and he will never hear the end of it from us.
The Vette got you some game with old guys I guess. For my generation the equivalent would be a girl into video games. Something about girls being into guy things I guess.

Lol, my backup plan if the C8 thing didn’t pan out was a Fiat 124 Abarth, which is still on my bucket list of cars get.
To get mad respect from my peers would require a lifted pickup truck.

The mistake you did make that could of been worse, never get out of your car especially in a drive up. You're left vulnerable and so is your car, valuables, and people that could be in your car.

I learned this years ago, "always leave yourself an out" in a drive up you have no out. You have no idea what the person that cut in front of you was oddly up to. He could of simply wanted you OUT of your car, and with THAT, he did.

Be hyper vigilant, it pays off especially when you have nicer things than they do. They just might want yours.

Calling into question whether my post is real or not and questioning my credibility - really? That's as douchey a move as the guy that cut in front of me.
Years ago in the military I flew with an old Captain that said "If I have to explain it to you, you're not going to understand". Same here. The point to be made/shared here is NOT what exact year the car was.

Most of the time I ignore them, but for those that really think "they rule" the mall shopping lots and give me the bird, or worse. I keep one of these in my car and use it !!
