And………

Really don’t care what Ferrari or Lamborghini owners do. Fact is besides your narrow thinking is we who debadged our Corvettes simply think it looked better. End of story….

The C8 has brought alot of younger buyers, it is a disruption in the force.

I know, right? Next thing you know they’ll be swapping on aftermarket wheels and switching out exhausts. They might get even more radical and put screens over the air intakes to protect the radiators and cover their interior trim with carbon fiber (only because it’s lighter that way, of course).

No badges needed with the road presence of the C8. Anyone with any car knowledge knows what they are looking at. Badgeless looks better (bonus: easier to clean).

Touché. Guess it can be hard to tell sometimes, lol. I forget that there are actually people out there that actually think like that for real.

Anyway, I removed the rear lettering the weekend I got my C8. When the ppf installer removed the front badge, I just left it off. A while later, I swapped out the rear stingray for the front badge after seeing the Z06 - I really like it there.

FWIW the CORVETTE is applied poorly and catches threads too, but I love the way it looks.
When my C8 went through PDI the detailer must have snagged the fish and broke a piece off. Dealer supplied me with a new one but after I removed the old one, hmmm, I like the look without lt. Since then I installed the low profile, tape on, spoiler. I’m considering removing the rear Corvette letter too. So far it will stay there.

The one thing we can agree on it is your Vette, do what you want to it!
I waited a long time to become a Vette purchaser, this is #6 and the best one so far, and this is my preference!

I was all set to debadge until I saw my car in person. I actually like the letters and the stingray on the back. I am replacing the front V with a stealth one but that's it. Decided to get a ceramic coating so that I don't have to worry about waxing around those letters!

Looks GREAT! Hard to best the beauty of a well maintained black finish on a sportscar, only problem is that it can be difficult keeping it that way.

Yeah and without them (younger buyers) GM would permanently halt production of Corvette in a few years. It would have died out with the Baby Boomers. Tadge, his C8 mid-engine and none baby boomers will assure its continued success.

Thanks, I cleaned and polished it last week, and I like my chrome front flag emblem!

I am one of the "younger" first time Vette buyers. Lol. The car has been pretty awesome.

Yep, the bright emblems and lettering makes that mirror finish black 'pop' even more.

I'm considering removing the "CORVETTE" on the back, just to make it easier to clean. On a daily driver, dirt collects around the edge of the badge on every letter and looks like crap in short order. It's too bad that they can't invent a new design to replace the individual letters like they've been doing for decades. It would likely also simplify the install for them if it was all one piece.

Exactly. Cleaning around those little letters is a pain and towel fibers get stuck in them. Even worse on a black car...
