Any one used Bomnin Chevrolet for ordering?
Looking to use a dealer here in Florida and Bomnin Chevrolet came up as a larger one here that also does not charge over MSRP so if you have used them please let me know of your experience.
Thanks

I ordered mine at 2 very good Florida dealerships and one came in first simply because they got way more allocations. But let me say this. I contacted Bomnin and they were arrogant, un friendly and made the impression that they didn't need my business. I live in Florida and never heard a good thing about them. But they sell lots of Corvettes. Maybe the people I spoke too were having a bad day? Or maybe they were a bunch of crooks. I guess the old saying is true, "You can't make a second good first impression!"

emailed them a couple of times and never got a response. Quickly eliminated them as an option.

Get EVERYTHING in writing. They have a few tricks up their sleeve as I recall…

Most Florida dealers have ridiculous doc fees. I’m in WV to pick up a new suv if that tells you anything.

Bomnin charges $1500 in assorted dealer fees but they do sell most at MSRP. Get EVERYTHING in writing and initialed by the GM. They are trying to become as large as MacMulkin but they are not anywhere near the same high quality customer oriented dealership that MacMulkin is. They are just trying to build up their volume.

Tried to work with Bomnin’s FL a few times. They’re everything you might hate about car dealerships. Arrogant, short, not reliable, over promise and under deliver. Never was able to close a single deal. I did close one deal on a ‘21 Tahoe at Bomknin in Manassas in Virginia but while ther e they had a C8 in their showroom for MSRP plus a ADM of $30,000 extra. Nitrogen, PPF, tint, ceramic, wheels etc. Yea it’s MSRP but their MSRP on wheels are apparently $7500.
Don’t walk, run. To MacMulkin. I picked up a C8 Vette from them and they are everything people love about integrity and honesty.

I got my 2020 HTC from Bomnin Dadeland. The overall experience was ok at best, but as mentioned previously:
1. Get everything in writing, no good faith handshakes.
2. Stay on top of your order (once it reaches 2000 status). Call concierge for updates, and stay in touch with your sales person every couple weeks.
3. Be at peace with the doc fees. It's the price of buying in Florida. (or buy out of state and do courtesy delivery)
Good Luck

I got the run around when trying to purchase a C7 from them. Try Don Mealey Chevrolet in Clermont or Stingray Chevrolet in Plant City. Both are top 15 dealers. I ultimately purchased from Don Mealey. I can give you a contact there if you PM me. He was great to work with and a Corvette specialist.

I read a few positive articles on them (Miami) so I figured I would order my C8 through them as well...HUGE mistake. Nonresponsive to emails, phone calls, texts. The only time the communication changed to consistent was when the deposit was requested BACK..then it was how can we help? What did we do? Then the onslaught of excuses came... I told them that all of their sales staff should attend a communications class as well as a customer service class. Needless to say, I went with MacMulkin Chevrolet, and thus far I couldn't be more satisfied, with the quick response time and updates via the web as well as here on the forum. The only issue I have is that I'm sitting at 239 on "the list" (tentative in March I think) and I'm on the fence with the option of a courtesy delivery or just go to NH and make a road trip of it, which is not a bad issue to have.

I have read a number of the negative reviews and while I do not doubt that they are all true, I can also tell you that I have bought 2 vettes (1 C7 & 1 C8) and my personal experience was positive. My sales person (Gabriel Pinero) for both cars got back to me usually within 1 day throughout the long 16 month process. I had a deposit ($500) for a 2020 and was number 439 out of their original allocation of about 550 cars. I got bumped due to the 2020 production issues and was asked if wanted to stay in line for a 2021 which I did. I was charged MSRP + their dealer fees that others have mentioned (about $1000) by the time you're done but all in all a positive experience. As others have warned get everything in writing (They provided that to me with no issues) and they were true to their word. I then gave the remaining amount to get to the 5% when I placed the order and in 3 months I had my car. Given the horror stories I've heard, I felt very pleased with the outcome and I knew everything ahead of time so there was no surprises. I would purchase again.

I'm #15 on Don Mealey's list, hoping to get an allocation next month. They're pretty good, I get responses from JC the specialist each and every time I text him, which is quite a bit as I get closer!

Here has been my result, after placing the $500 (refundable) deposit to get on the C8 order list on May 23rd, 2021. Recently I have gotten an allocation from another dealer so I sought to get back my refundable $500 deposit from Bomnin Chevrolet Dadeland, FL. Well since my original request for a refund about one month ago nothing has occurred. I first emailed Bomnin three time with NO response, I then called the internet sales department and was referred to Gabriel Pineiro for hopefully some action on the refund. With two contacts since the initial phone conversation no refund has occurred. At this point if nothing happens after another phone contact its off to file a small claims case in Florida for $80.
Bomnin will then be served a subpoena and if I win the case they will have to pay the $500 plus $80 and other case related costs.
I guess the take away is Bomnin is not a reliable dealer to place any trust in!
Hope this information help others wanting to obtain a C8.

I wouldn't consider purchasing any car from them. They remind me of the old slick car dealers. There are so many better choices out there like Stingray in Plant City Florida or Macmulkin in New Hampshire.
