First Service - Dealer Told ME I Am Entitled to DCT Filter Change!
Called my dealer last week to schedule first service. They pulled up my account, then proceeded to tell ME I get an oil and oil filter change, AND a DCT filter change, plus a quart of DCT fluid, all under warranty! No arguing, no need to provide screen-prints off the internet, easy peasy. That’s the way it should be!

I thought they were supposed to change the DCT oil also at 7500 miles. Also it says the customer requested Mobil 1 when that is what is supposed to be added anyway. Just curious.

my understanding his if you bring the corvette in for the first free change during the 1 year period and it has 7500 miles or more they will change the DCT under warranty. My guess when the DCT trans need service at around 35,000 miles it will cost you around 1000. That is at least the rate for the PDK.

I received the DCT filter change, engine oil and filter service at no charge on my 2020 at my selling dealership. Next recommended service on the DCT is at 22,500 miles.

There are two filters on the DCT.
I am planning to have the canister filter serviced at 7500, (already replaced it at 1700). I will tear it apart and if I see any metallic particles in there I will have them also take off the pan and replace the flat pan filter as well. That will require a DCTF change too, won't be free.

My OLM says 4% engine oil life left and DCT 87% life left. BUT regardless of miles GM is paying like 2.25 hours of Tech time for the DCT filter change!

I am planning on doing a little drag racing and low speed autocross this fall.
I took my C8 in yesterday for the initial service even though I only had 2,250 miles.
I requested the DCT filter change and the additional 2 quarts of DCT fluid for the track.
I was surprised it was all covered by GM. It will take me years to get 7,500 miles on the C8.
I have a 2016 Z06/Z07 with only 8K miles.
