Rubbed the Dye off of my Sky Cool Gray Drivers side seat. The Fix

No, I had on a new red shirt. Some of the red dye transferred to the seat. What took the Sky Kool Gray Dye off the seat was the Gonzo that I was using to get rid of the red dye. Do not use Gonzo on your seats to remove stains. It will remove the stain and the leather dye on your seats.
Any interior surface of a newer (and even most older) cars comes clean with just hot water and in extremes a little bit of soap.
Don't be fooled by the chem companies.
Glad it worked out for you.

I mean. Hot water and a little dish soap on a towel before resorting to chemicals? Lol I thought that was known by all because it says so in the owners manual and has been preached on this forum for 2 decades.

This stuff works great!!
I wipe my seats down every time I drive the car. Two weeks ago I found some color transfer from my red shirt on the drivers side seat. DO Not use Gonzo to take stains out of a Sky Cool Gray Interior. It will take off the dye. I googled leather dye for seats and picked Seat Doctors. You tell him the color of your interior with the number from your Build Sheet. This bottle cost about $35.00. He has a video that shows you what to do. It took me about an hour. I also had a small mark on the drivers side door panel that is invisible now. The pictures show the incredible results.

Excellent color match. Saving this info just in case it is needed for my seats later on.

I have 16,600 miles on my 2020. I noticed a very small spot neat the bottom of the side bolster. I ordered a bottle of the Natural color. I applied the dye (really it’s a flexible paint) and am very satisfied with the results. Perfect color match. I recommend it.

Try most any automotive leather cleaner. Lexol, Adams etc. I use Blue Corral, works very well. Be sure to get the “cleaner” not the “conditioner”… two different things.

Thank you to those that confirmed Seat Doctors works well on the natural tan.
I installed a pair of $40 Amazon seat covers that stained my natural seats with black marks over the bottom seat bolsters. Would have been undetectable if I had black seats. I tried various cleaners that started to remove the dye. I finally had the two seat bottoms professionally dyed for $800. To my pleasant surprise the Amazon vendor reimbursed me.
For smaller stains in the future I’ll give Seat Doctor a try.

I notice my jeans transfer blue dye to the sky cool grey seats after just one or two rides. I use chemical guys leather cleaner to remove it because that is what I have on hand. Good to know to be gentle with these seats when cleaning off stains!
Edit - and these are worn in jeans, washed many times.

I think using the conditioner after cleaning makes it easier the next time.
