Default 8/15/21~C8 deliveries, Carlisle,old pics and much more*Mike Furman@Criswell*

*It's all Corvettes August 26-28 at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds during Corvettes at Carlisle. Don’t miss the most fun-filled Corvette event in the world!
~Team Chevrolet is coming for Corvettes at Carlisle 2021! You'll be able to talk face to face with talented individuals who have had a hand in the production of Chevrolet vehicles over the years.
~I will have my Red Mist 2021 Convt on display at the Ron Fellows Spring Mountain racetrack tent just next to the GM TENT on the Midway Infield. Thursday ~Saturday. August 26th-28th.
Please stop by and say Hi.

Some Corvette deliveries this week...

~Ken and Kathi T. of Peoria, Arizona were referred to me by John Elegant of the MECF. I had their C8 drop-shipped for courtesy delivery to their Chevrolet dealer in Phoenix, AZ. Their new Elkhart Lake Blue 2021 Corvette coupe looks great next to their C3 in the garage!
Email from Ken and Kathi: “Hi Mike, I picked up my new C8 Wednesday and I must say I am very impressed! It is such of a jump from my previous C7. This one is our 5th Corvette (2 C6’s, 1 C7, 1 C3) and we are very happy with it. I took some additional pictures and will send them in an email from my phone.
Thank you Mike Furman and John gain for making this dream a reality!”
Ken & Kathi T. Of AZ

~Nixon “Bud” M. of El Paso, Texas factory ordered his new Red Mist 2021 Corvette Convt and I had it drop-shipped for courtesy delivery at his Chevrolet dealer near him in El Paso, TX. Bud sent an email: “Just got back from some of the mountain roads in New Mexico.
What a ride!” I'd say he is having fun!

~Ron L. of Oro Valley, Arizona factory ordered their Torch Red 2021 Corvette coupe with Natural dipped interior and clicked off almost every single option including R8C. This past week they had the red carpet rolled out for them at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY.

~Rachael and Juan T. of Miami, Florida factory ordered their new Black with Red interior 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe and I had it drop-shipped for courtesy delivery at their Chevrolet dealer in Delray Beach, Florida. Needless to say, they were thrilled with their new C8! I called them this morning to follow up and they were both over the moon happy.

~David M. of Port Angeles, Washington reached across the country to order his new Torch Red 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe. I had his Corvette drop-shipped for courtesy delivery at a Chevrolet dealer in Sublimity, Oregon. Thrilled beyond belief would be one reaction for how the process went. Enjoy your world class sports car, David.

~Mathew S. of Hartland, Wisconsin factory ordered his Black 2021 Corvette Z51 coupe to be prepped at Criswell Chevrolet and we completed the paperwork process via fed Ex. Plycar trucking will pick it up this week to deliver it to Mathew’s driveway in Wisconsin. Check out the two-tone Sky cool gray interior!

~Joseph B. of Huntington Station, New York flew down last night and met me at the dealership at 8:30 am so he could get on the road quickly back to Long Island. Joe ordered a Rapid Blue 2021 Corvette Convt with the tension Blue/ Twilight Blue interior. Joe is cooler than the other side of the pillow and now he owns a Corvette to match.
Email from Joe after his journey home...”Thanks Mike! Made it back to NY in 6 hours or so…a little longer than planned but I didn’t mind the longer ride! thanks so much for everything Mike. The experience coming down to you was so worth it. You guys are a machine and so organized down there and yet very personal too! A 5 star buying experience for sure! I am going to drive for a week like you said and collect my questions and then hit you up like you offered. Thanks again Mike!”
Joe B. NY

Strange accident in Spokane, WA. Looks like the SUV was hit on the passenger side then rolled over into the stopped corvette or did the corvette drive into it post rollover? Sad to see in any case.

Great pics as always Mike. Keep up the good work. Totally bummed I’ll be leaving town before Carlisle 😩. But I’ll be at Carlisle South (Corvettes at Lakeland) in February if anyone wants to hang in Florida!

I wonder how many of these 1957 Corvettes are still alive today?

Maybe 5 of them. Nobody knew the future, then.

Congratulations to all of the new C8 owners! Thanks again for all of the wonderful throwback photos. I am logging on to his page from Costa Rica. We're on vacation this week. This trip is our second one to this beautiful part of Central America. So far, we have not seen a single Corvette of any variety. I suppose the roads down here are not really ideal for high-performance cars and there are not that many great places where you could really go fast.

My favorite this week has to be the rear view of a C3 being driven in Kuwait.

No doubt that there are plenty of wide open and flat places where you can enjoy a Corvette. I just hope he has a good air conditioning system in it.

Have a fantastic Sunday!!

Based on amount of damage including the roof I would say it rolled once or twice first then hit the Vette.
