Default Air conditioned seats

Do these things actually work ?? They did nothing in my C7 and tried them for the first time today in my C8 when it was 90 out and couldn't feel a damn thing !!!

I suspect the seats are ventilated and not air conditioned. If that's the case then they are only circulating the cooled air that is in the cabin.

Yep, ventilated, not air conditioned. There is a fan the blows air through the perforations in the seat. You can definitely feel it. It'll blow a tissue up off the seat. It won't cool your butt any further than the air temp in the cabin, but the moving air really helps when you need it.

Yep. I wouldn't have a car without it.

They work but not great.
The car seems to radiate a lot of heat from
the footwell. On a hot and sunny day the AC barely keeps up. Run the floor AC so that the seat blowers pick up that chilled air.

Just make sure you’re wearing clean underwear when you use it because you don’t want to make your passenger gag.

Turn lower vents "on" when running AC. Flood the footwells with COLD air and the ventilation fans can pull it into the seats and up your rear.

Yes, they suck. My 2015 Mustang has much better ones.

If you are a passenger of mine, just know clean undies wont help. I could run my C8 on my methane alone. And yours may be soiled anyway by end of trip the way I drive.

About like my two C7s. Can feel in the summer IF wearing light weight short and shirt. Wearing jeans never know it's on!

In my truck there is a vent that goes under the seat and a fan that draws that air through the perforations in the seat. It does work. It's GM so I imagine it is at least similar.

^^^
Similar BUT it's a sports car seat NOT a larger truck seat. Corvette seats made by Lear, the same folks who make seats for Ferrari.

This is the C7 but no doubt similar. Three small fans blow cabin air from under the seat.

My ventilated seats do not work at all. I can hear the fan running but there is no air coming out at all.

Tried that numerous times. It doesn't work for me. All my ventilated seats do is make a little noise, that's it.
