C8 has a much better driver. They should switch cars and see who wins. I bet it would be the ZR1.

The fastest cars don’t always win. In this case the C8 was the most forgiving and consistent vehicle on race day.

what a fun video...
the c8 is just a track monster.
i dont think the zr1 driver was really the issue... all the power in the world is not gonna matter without the proper traction,., or a little longer straight away.

Nice video.
Man are they suppose to stay in their lanes? Or can they use the whole track with proper racing lines, but that will block the car behind and possibly cause collision.

Aside from 0-60 times the C8 Stingray can't even hold a candle to the C7 ZR1. Just check some lap times on different tracks to see the difference. The ZR1 driver probably turned off all traction control and active handling and was struggling putting the power down evidenced by his loosing traction coming out of a turn. The video clearly shows a better driver in the C8.

It’s superior from a dig (especially in the real world, unprepped track), and is great at cornering. So it really is the better car for this type of event. But I can imagine that the zr1 wipes the C8 in longer distance tracks.
Still very fun to watch and can’t wait for my C8 to arrive! I’ll be rooting for this guy on YouTube.

That is pretty subjective when it comes to stance on design. C8 is a fine car no doubt, but do not see it (currently) beating a C7ZR1 all factors being equal. Funny video regardless though.

The C7 Z will walk away from a base model C8 as its significantly faster. Trap Speed is 130+

price difference between the C7 ZR1 and the C8? It should have a faster speed. Truer comparison is when the C8 Z06 is released. If their is a Hybred forget about any comparison
