If I go Z51 I would do the spoiler delete. To me the spoiler looks like a cheap aftermarket add-on. Like the lines of the C8 minus the spoiler. To each their own.

Nope. The no spoiler C8’s look naked to me.

I am actually going the opposite direction and ordering a high wing spoiler on my Z 51. I normally don’t like them but I saw one in person driving by me and it really add something to that car.

I am leaning that way to get the z51 with a spoiler delete. I like the no spoiler look. But I wonder, since you are paying for the z51 package and delete the spoiler, will GM still give you the front and rears spoilers separately just not installed.

I'm going with the aero delete option.
If I was only going to use it on the track, I'd get spoilers, but since the car will spend 99.9i% of its time just tooling around town, I prefer the look of the car without the spoilers and will appreciate the added clearance when negotiating driveways.

I placed an order this week for a 3LT z51 and the system said NO to the high wing spoiler. Only allowed on the IMSA and non-Z51. Dosent make any sense but Order Workbench System said no.

The spoiler options are becoming a confusing mess for the consumer. For 2022 they are adding a new baby spoiler (with front splitter) for non-Z51 cars, but it's not available for Z51. Now there will be three spoiler choices. Chevy should offer nothing with a spoiler & splitter and allow them to be itemized options on the build site for both non-Z51 and Z51.

I'm doing the spoiler delete. I'd rather have it naked back there until I find a wing I really like

If they charge you the same with or without the spoiler, I'd like to have it in case I ever decide to put it on.
Anyone have any knowledge if they still give it to you?

Macmulkin put my 2023 order into the Workbench in anticipation for their next round af allocations. I opted for the spoiler delete and asked if the price went down and was told there was no information about that. I didn't ask if they give them to you just not install them. An Active Aero option is the ideal answer, IMHO (Porsche has it). The high wing folks could order their option, a 'spoiler up' switch might appeal to some, and it would satisfy those of us who like the clean look for daily driving. I would happily pay for the option. Hello, GM?

After playing with the visualizer, it struck me that the Z51 spoiler contributes to the rear end looking boxy/bulky/oversized. The low spoiler or no spoiler look really helps the look of the rear end. Even the high spoiler helps the look.
So, it's been determined that the new low spoiler/lip is not available on the Z51? If so, I wonder why they wouldn't give you a choice?

I'm in the 2022 Corvette visualizer and it let me build a 3LT Z51 with high wing spoiler

My guess is that the aero delete option will NOT reduce the price and you will NOT get the spoiler/splitter. Just like ordering a burger that comes with cheese and asking for it without cheese. You don't get a price reduction and you don't get the cheese. If you add cheese to a burger that does not come with it, they charge additional for the cheese.

I wish the high wing was a little more higher. About 3”.
