How can I select one of my Iphone contacts and navigate to it using the 2021 C8 Navigation System? I have Carplay set up.

You would need to use CarPlay and therefore you would be using Apple Maps, not the in-car navigation system.

Ask Siri to "Navigate to John Smith's home". You can activate Siri by long-pressing the voice button on your steering wheel.

You can add a destination using an address in your contact list provided your phone is connected via Bluetooth.

You are NOT limited to using Apple Maps w/ CarPlay. Both Google Maps and Waze are CarPlay compatible and allow you to navigate to an address in your phone contact list. Both are superior to any OEM-installed navigation system in terms of avoiding traffic tie-ups because they have much better real-time data.

We own several vehicles with factory navs, but use we use Google Maps and Waze w/ CarPlay exclusively now. We live in a rural area, but both work in a congested major urban area, compared our commuting times using both, and the phone apps almost always beat the factory navs.

If you live in a rural area w/ light traffic, it's a coin-flip with either doing essentially the same thing.

As an added bonus, Google Maps w/ CarPlay allows you to select satellite view, which is pretty cool to see high quality Google Earth images on your nav screen as you travel.
