Input from those who actually have Front End Lift
I know there are a lot of threads on this topic but really just wanting to hear from those that have it. I'm trying to finalize my option list and I think I am close on everything but the Front Lift. Just keep going back and forth based on different posts I read. I'm leaning towards a non Z51 coupe. If you have the lift are you glad you have it or can you live without it?

I’m glad I have it.

The first question you need to ask yourself is have you EVER scraped the front end of any previous generation Corvette? Given the significant price increase I think it’s a novelty and unneeded by 99% of owners.

Lots of rain gutters and speed bumps on the streets of central Florida, along with steep driveway approach angles. With the memory feature, the more I drive the car around the area, the more I appreciate spending the money for the option.

Completely happy with it. What a feature to have when you need it. It's far more than a novelty. Even if it's only once in a while. GPS memory just does it without thought anywhere you have even the slightest chance to drag the front on a curb, or speed bump, or transition.

I have it and use it. Not every day, but YES, it gets used.
Another thing to acknowledge is that this is not an option you can add later if you change your mind. Didn't buy the wheels you were on the fence about? No problem, just go and buy them and install them. But this is not something you can ever add later and there is no aftermarket solution.
I would give up Mag ride before I would give up the front lift on my car.

I have it and use it daily. On my C7 the only way I could enter my post office's driveway without scraping is to enter at a 45* angle and go very slowly. Not practical to wait for the right break in traffic for a left turn with cars stacking up behind you. With my C8 I can enter the driveway like every other person.
It allows you to drive it like a normal car.

I Need it
I need the front lift. My C7 air dams dragged on the driveway. There are many speed bumps at shopping centers and at the entrance and exit to my work place.

Used it about half a dozen times today. If you don't lower your car, and never have to go over speed bumps, or enter driveways with dips, then you may not need it where you drive.

Are you saying that 99% of Corvette owners have never scraped their car's front end? If so, I want to see where that research took place.

Wow, that's the strongest statement I have seen.
My order will/should be in the first batch of 22's and while I originally ordered it (with reservations) I now am just a little more hesitant with the price increase. I'll figure it out soon!

Use it every time I drive, in/out of certain driveways, speed bumps, railroad tracks, weird transitions going downhill that slope up too quickly, etc. In my opinion, definitely a great option, especially with the GPS feature.

Look at it like this. If you get it and find out you didn't need it, you will be p.o'd. at first, but then you will forget about it. If you don't get it, and find yourself scraping a lot, or even occasionally, you will be constantly reminded of your decision, and p.o'd all the time.

The lift with GPS enabled is a very thought out option. One of its kind. There are many uses for it. To drive up to your trailer if you're trailering your corvette somewhere, driveways, etc. it makes your track designed car livable for daily driving. Get it!

It is a MUST have option for WHERE I LIVE. Sloping driveways, speed bumps, etc. If you live in a table top flat city, you do not need it.
