Default 2 year wait is over!!

I ordered my car in September 2019 and finally took delivery last week. In that time I went from a 20 to a 21 and was able to completely change my order and am very happy with the result.

Congrats, it's a beautiful car! Two years is a LONG wait, but it will will fade pretty quickly as you now get to drive it every day.

Pretty nice looking, enjoy it. Damn shame folks have to wait so long. Has there ever been a time in the history of ordering Corvettes that has taken this long?

Why so long? I had heard 9-12 months on average, I have heard on the forum 4-6 months.

Beautiful Car - congrats! Thought my wait was long at 19 months. Did you happen to be driving in the foot hills of the Shenandoah yesterday? I was out on my motorcycle and passed a C8 - was surprised to see it out there - that looked a lot like yours. If you are in F'burg I am up in Stafford - wouldn't mind getting together to compare notes!

I think you were misled. 1-2 years is normal from what I can gather.

Default Ordered mine same time

I'm glad I didn't order from the same dealer you did, I too ordered mine in Sept '19...but I got mine Jan '21.
and I'm not suggesting that your dealer had control over it, could've gone the other way. Great looking car - enjoy the looks you get, they're not as pronounced as they were in the spring, but people still go crazy over the car.
This earlier this spring I would pass cars on the freeway that were going slow, and they all of the sudden would be dodging traffic and driving 90+ mph trying to catch up to me just to drive next to me to try and figure out what kind of car it was cause they had never seen one before-it was crazy. People still speed up on the freeway to keep up to me to get a longer look, but not like it was before.

Great looking car, congrats and enjoy! Waiting 1 year has been excruciating, not sure how you did 2.

Did you get shadow grey accents or is that carbon flash? In this lighting, the intake blades look a little lighter, so I wasn't sure. Car looks amazing!! Glad you are enjoying your ride!!

Of course times have changed, but I got my '17 GS in September 2016 - and that was with M7 constraints.
Now, the best I can hope for is getting my '22 in May or June of 2022.
Oh well

Wow, congrats! I am not generally a fan of stripes but I think your build is awesome. Enjoy!! Mine was an 18 month wait and I now have a car two model years "dated" that is only a little over six months old. Do I care - hell no. My 2020 C8 is the best Vette I've ever had.

I ordered through MacMulkin. 9 months until built including some plant shutdowns. Using museum delivery will result in 10 months to possession on July 21st.
