Ferociously quick.
Gorgeous eye-catching exotic looks.
Ferrari-like handling.
Upscale interior.
Modern tech.
Rides like a Caddy.
Relatively speaking has decent storage and good gas mileage.
Can be serviced at your local Chevy dealer for Chevy prices.
America...F*CK YEAH!!

Agree! Some of the things I like the most are the smooth, comfortable ride especially in tour mode, the power and quickness, the handling, the paddle shifters, the front & rearview cameras, the front lift, the small ac vents, the power adjustable steering wheel & seats, the HUD, the gauges that change when you change driving mode, and how great it looks.
This car exceeds all my expectations!

I agree. I pick mine up at the Museum on the 30th. While a few people have problems, I have to believe that the vast majority of owners have very few problems and are very happy with their cars.

I have observed the loudest of the critics who provide us their opinions do not even own the C8. I currently own a C2, a C3 and a C8 and once owned C5 and C6 Z06's and I love my HTC.

We were looking at 2022 Porsche 911s and spec'ed one out at 150Kish. Dollars. American.
Then we just asked why don't we sell the 2015 and order up a 2022? Done!
The only thing the Corvette doesn't have is the Porsche panache, however, everything else outweighs the balance and savings.
It's not my favorite car ever, but life is about choices and compromise. I love the criticism of non-owners and the ridiculous support of owners.
We are seeing the garage completely switch from all German, to all American. 2020 Mustang (supercharged and flame away....HA) and a 2020 Ford Explorer patiently await the arrival in a year of the 2022.
Carry on.....

Panache. Cache. Chutzpah. Presence. Halo car since I was a kiddo. All that.
Isn't a styler what the wife uses in the bathroom doing the hair?
All good! Over the P-car thang and way on board the C-car thang!

Only two negatives up there. Rides like a Caddy. If I wanted a Caddy, I would buy a Caddy. Service at Chevy dealers. Don’t need to say anything more.

MSRC is the bomb with the key word being selective! I wish my last two Z06's had that option. And when the maintenance gets to the "over my head and equipment" category, not paying exotic car repair prices won't suck either.

As wfoz06 indicated, it's SELECTIVE. It can either ride like a caddy or ride like a stiff race car or somewhere in between. All depends on the settings you choose. You have Z mode and "My Mode" and can tailor everything to your preference. (ride quality being one, assuming you have mag ride)

My brother is a big 911 fan, but after driving my C8 he has changed his mind. Just like you he will pass on his spec'd out 911 that came to $150k plus tax and license. He now has a deposit on a C8 at two different dealerships. Bye Bye Porsche buying

What I love is the handling of my HTC. I had a 14 Z51 and there is a zig zag section of a back road. My C7 would tires would start to complain at .75G . ~40mph. My C8 goes past .8G's and no tire squeal ~ 55mph. The wife does not complain about the g's in the C8, in the C7 she didn't like the Zig Zag at all. Its a great handling car.

I have had a bunch of 911's and other great sports cars. The C8 is fantastic. For the first time Chevy is in line with everyone else or even ahead. The 911 "Panache" is simply people knowing you paid more. I'm so pleased and thankful for the C8. Makes me proud(er) to be an American, and optimistic about what GM can do when they have the right team in place.

Nope, I don't own one. No plans on owning one until the other variants come out. Been in a friends several times and yes the setting he has it in is the Caddy setting. I guess it just lacked the rawness of the C7. But maybe that can be achieved somewhat in the other settings. I will make a point of asking him to go through the various setting to experience the differences.
