Default C8 Build to shipment

My C8 will reaches 3800 status this week. Does anyone know how long it typically takes from the time the cars leave the assembly line to the time they are placed on the trucks for delivery? I'm out of town and wanted to make sure I'm back before my car is ships.

Thanks!

Interesting you're getting to 3800 since the factory is shut down this week.

I did not know that (CRAP!); But below is what I got from the chevy concierge. See below:

You have a Target Production this Week, 05/10/2021 – congratulations! Your order is scheduled to be built sometime this week. Our system does not indicate a specific date. We would recommend reaching out Friday, 05/14/2021 as this is the earliest we may have an update for you. May I assist you with anything else today?

But to my questions, when a car comes off the line, how long does it typically take to be loaded onto the transport truck?

Mine came off the line late last Tuesday (5/4) and is still listed as 3800 status today per the Kerbeck web tracking site.

The Concierge is just reading a standard script. Sad that they haven't been updated on the shutdown this week. Corvette Assembly Plant to Close May 10 Due to Parts Shortage

Anywhere from a couple of days to about 2 weeks. Supposedly Jack Cooper Transport has 10 days to get it loaded once Chevy releases it to shipping.

This is a popular question. My car was completed last Fr/Sa, and I'm awaiting shipment. Your car could be at you dealership in as little as 4 days, or it could take longer. If you call the concierge again after next week, they'll give you a standard 2-3 weeks or longer. It really depends on QC checks and the availability of a truck to your area with a full load. The good thing is you're close to BG, so hopefully you'll have your car in a couple weeks.

Thanks! That gives me some idea since Kerbeck is the largest dealer.

Ahh, was hoping I'd miss the next shutdown.

Mine was built on 5/3 and shipped on 5/7 and arrived at the dealer yesterday (5/10). I'm picking it up on Friday. So it can happen pretty quick if you are on the East Coast.

Depending on the number of cars headed in your direction, some cars wait for a while until the truck gets filled. Two C8's were waiting for a week and mine and another rolled on Saturday and then the truck left.
