The other guys not saying there should be ONLY manuals, he's saying it should be an option.

Are you from the planet Mars? Tadge has explained many time why a manual was not possible in the C8. Clearly it’s you who took the booster shot.

For the others who want a manual, he waves them off with this explanation.
>inb4 "prove it"
Here is a guy whos making his C8 manual himself https://www.youtube.com/@mattfield777/videos
PS that's a different argument
I didn't even mention if it's possible or not,
the other guy said he wished manual was an option
you responded by saying you might not have bought it if manual was the only option
to which I responded saying the first guy never said he wished manual was the only option

Drifting
Most of the problems are repeated on multiple Facebook pages by the same people. Plus, there are many trolls on these sites that just make things up to start something.

I didn't read the previous 49 posts. I'd prefer it have a "normal" transmission. Way too much DCT drama and potential major expense if you're unlucky. I prefer my transmissions 1) rebuildable and 2) less than 5 figure$.

A lot of folks have never driven a DCT-equipped car, and are used to torque converter automatics, which are smoother. They may perceive problems that aren't.
The C8 Tremec DCT appears to be relatively reliable, although a small number have experienced issues, which software programming usually resolves.

Burning Brakes
85 db is ridiculously high
In my case, neither GM or my dealership have brought any resolution to my issue with excessive whine at cruising speed. They only say it's allowable up to 85 decibels via the PICO scope measurements. That's pretty loud. Its looking like other measures may have to be taken for any satisfaction.
85 db is city traffic
If the interior of your car is even 75db loud that is too loud.
