It is my understanding that dealers who sell more, get more. Hypothetically if everyone buys from only these three no other dealer would get allocations. i’m not interested in supporting such an imbalance.

It is understood that not everyone has an honest local dealer.

I would much rather see my local honest dealer thrive and build good sales and support for these cars than one 1,500 miles away.
I'm sure many of us would love to stay local. I tried. I searched a radius of 200 miles and found 2 things:
  1. That the ones with allocations wanted $10k-$20k ADM and I wasn't going to pay that.
  2. The ones that were willing to sell at MSRP were taking more deposits than they had allocations, guaranteeing you'd be waiting over a year for a car.
We get what you're saying and if you want to see the imbalance go away, then these dealers have to start selling at MSRP instead of gouging people. Until that nonsense stops, people will go with the big 3, who move more cars because they're honest AND giving us MSRP pricing.

You are a very patient individual for waiting that long. I’m with the others - time to put in a deposit with one of the larger dealers that get a lot of allocations and can get you a car much quicker and at MSRP. Good luck.

I'm in the same boat... deposit in DEC 19... was number 16 out of 20 allocations... nothing... and nothing looking forward ! this is turning into a terible experience, just getting more and more frustrated as I see cars allover here ! (Ordered in Sheboygan)

rsi 2715 Just think people that ordered AFTER you at the bigger dealers probably have gotten their cars while you still wait. BS

Sounds like you have the allocation right after mine at the same dealer.
