Carbon fiber int trim?

My current car has CF: entire hood and roof, drive shaft and CF all over the interior including part of the steering wheel, and all the real CF came with the car at no extra cost. So I couldn't justify paying $1500 for four little interior pieces of CF for the C8. If the trim pieces under the vents and the screen also came in CF, I would have considered it.

"At no extra cost".
Hahaha. Believe me, you paid plenty for it!

I mistakenly posted on on old thread so here we go again.
Worth it! I ordered every visible cf option from front grill, skirts, splitter, high wing, mirror caps.......
Due to supplier issues I only got the CF roof, interior trims and the engine appearance package. Now I'm in search of the rest so get it if it's available or at least put the order through. I want all OEM for precise fitment. I'd get everything I can. My $0.02.
Now on to the pics. I personally think little goes a long way and GM has done it tastefully.

I checked out the C8trim.com. The three overlays look good, but I bet it would be difficult at best to install. Noticed several sharp curves at the ends of the dash piece, on the far left side of the dash. I can see my self really making a mess. If I did order the pieces, I would have to find someone to install them.

Installation of the three chrome-covering pieces should be very easy.

Please report back once installed. I local mentioned on Facebook that it was easy to install and looked good although he didn't opt for the GM carbon fiber interior so can't tell how well it might match.

Problem with Carbon Fiber is once you start hard to stop!
For my early 2014 Z51 I ordered the OEM visible Carbon Fiber roof. Then needed side skirts to stop rocks marking the rocker panels and the heavy GM plastic they put on from the center of the door up to the front of the rear wheel well. LG Motorsports had SEMA Award winning full length Carbon Fiber side skirts. Expensive but matched the OEM roof (was able to remove that GM plastic already marked from pebbles tossed by the front tires.) Then they offered real CF hood vent so bought it. Thought a splitter would be a good addition so bought one with real Carbon Fiber outer layer.
Then the Chrome Grill Bar stood out like a sore thumb. After spending all that money for real Carbon Fiber was not about to use cheap faux CF look tape. One company offered Real CF in a thin overlay that fit perfectly. NOT CHEAP. As I recall it listed for well over $300. Bought for ~$250. Car looked great, all Carbon Fiber weave matched
Fortunately when I sold it the buyer really liked the a Carbon Fiber and got some cost back BUT SAID NEVER AGAIN! I'll live with the small amount on my GT2 C8 seats but won't get hooked into more!
OEM Visible CF Roof, CF Side Skirts, CF Splitter, CF Hood Vent and Real Carbon Fiber Cover for Grill Bar.
No Choice Needed Real CF Gill Bar Cover. Would Not Use Cheap Faux CF Look Tape. BUT EXPENSIVE!
Real Carbon Fiber Hood Vent- All Weave Matched!

The C8trim pieces look good but I was also wondering about the quality. I have seen and handled the APSIS ones at Carlisle and they appeared to be very sturdy but expensive. Looking forward to reading the review on the C8trim pieces once they are installed.

By going with C8Trim I saved a decent amount of money and felt secure in the customer service after exchanging multiple emails with the primary contact prior to buying. The only piece I have not installed is the one over the glove box, the largest one. I anticipate no problems. I hope to see more interior pieces from C8Trim.com. Personally, I am only using carbon fiber on the interior, none on the exterior...my preference.

Pictures, please.
Please post photos of the trim you ordered and installed.
I, too, like carbon fiber and ordered the OEM option. Might consider more depending on quality and match to OEM..
Thank you.

Earlier today, I received the three interior pieces from C8Trim.com. I installed two of the three pieces and am very happy with the fit and quality of the pieces. I saw many Apsis pieces in Carlisle and I feel safe in saying the quality of the two company's products is equal. The gloss and weave of both lines up closely with that which is in the GM Carbon Fiber interior package, which I have.
