Contact MacMulkin!! I have purchased 3 vettes from them and all 3 were great experiences where I was kept informed and my emails and calls were responded to immediately.

I have watched a few Conti vids but he has a knack for turning what should be an 8-10 minute vid into a 20-25 minute affair. When I went shopping for a C8 after exhausting possibilities of the local area dealers, I researched the big three forum dealers. Kerbeck just seemed a bit overwhelming to me in their process and deposit routine. So I didn't even inquire. MM came across as simple, straightforward and very easy to deal with. My communications started with Christina who was just the best and followed by Shane who is likewise top drawer. But I also want to give special shout out to Mike Furman at Criswell. Reached out to him and the response was super. Emailed information was thorough, complete and well presented. I had a question or two and I had no difficulty in phoning Mike and he got back to me in person within a day. I ended up with MM and I'm in the April allocation after making my deposit the last week of November, 2020. But if I were to start the process again, I would highly recommend Furman. He's good.

Rick likes to help his previous customers more than he would a local NEW customer. I am from Columbus, Ohio and he would not give me the time of day. Little does he know my money spends anywhere and I am young enough to buy Corvettes for the next 30 years. Their loss is MM gain!

His attitude may not cost the dealer Corvette sales, since he sells everyone he can get, but I bet it's costing them sales of other vehicles to people who have written of the dealership as a result of Conti's attitude.
I am one of those customers. It is sad because Coughlin Chevrolet is 20 mins from my house. Now I will make my new car or used car purchases elsewhere. This dealership will not even be a consideration because of my previous experience with them.

Used to watch his video's on you tube for information and updates but can get the same from MacMulkin on their thread here on the forum without all the BS. Going to purchase my second Corvette from them and probably would not order one from anyone else and live in Florida.

Purchased my C8 from Amoni at Kerbeck and had no problems at all. Understook the deposits and how it worked. Texted Amoni and received a fast response from him and also texted Dave (corvette sales Manager) once and heard back from him in a reasonable time also. Now all I need is the car, but patience is a virtue.. Well sometimes.. lol

Try Bill Kinney at Bob Johnson Chevrolet in Rochester, NY. He is a magician! Worked for me.

I have had 5 previous corvettes and have a C8 on order. Rick Conti cares mainly about his You Tube channel blog. He can't possibly take care of all the correspondence he generates. I was ignored as well and bought from Kerbeck, Sam Kelly is great to deal with and the purchase went very smoothly. I would never buy from Conti after my experience with Kerbeck. Once all this C8 frenzy dies down, Conti might wish he did respond to all people. . Kerbeck didn't become #1 by ignoring people.

I feel your pain. I have the largest Chevy dealer in the area probably 10 miles from my door, tried to buy a C7 ZO6 from them, as well as a GMC pickup, gave the salespeople all my info and not so much as an e-mail either time. Same thing with the local Mercedes dealer when I was buying a new Benz for my wife, no call back, no e-mail. So, I say f**k them all, I drove 75 miles to order a new Benz, about the same to order my ZO6 and about 45 miles to order a new Ford pickup, all 3 were cash deals, so the way I see it, if they don't want my business, I don't have a problem giving it to someone who does. They don't have to treat me like I'm Bill Gates, but they do need to at least return a call or an e-mail, business must be pretty good.

Lots of Conti trashing in this thread, I too watch his videos & I think that he generally does a good job with them....Folks are right though when they complain about the lack of response to their texts/email/phone calls...sounds to me that he is overwhelmed

I have only had one interaction with Rick and that was years ago (2014). I had a couple of questions regarding the C7 when it came out and he was nice enough to respond in a timely manner, Therefore, I have nothing negative to say other than my impression that he tends to come across like a bit of a carnival barker in his videos..

Wow. What a set up. I was already impressed with MacMulkin, but after seeing the equipment they have for local deliveries all I can say is I am super impressed.

I remember many years ago on this forum a similar issue popped up and Rick wound up apologizing and saying he hired an assistant,

Had my C7 transported to Florida by Intercity set up by MacMulkin, probably do the same with the C8. Smooth operation.
