^^^^ I don't notice fitment issues in your photos. And those crossed flags sure complete a great-looking wheel setup for the C8. Very cool 😎!

I guess it’s not a major issue. The cap just doesn’t fit as recessed like it does in the OEM wheel. Here’s a pic of the cap in the OEM trident wheel for comparison.

I'd go with it. What epoxy did you use, and is it "reversible?" I'd only be concerned about them separating at high speeds. Love the wheels.

I actually haven’t used any epoxy yet I just held the cap on with double-sided tape for pictures. That’s a good question I don’t think it’s going to be reversible if you do it correctly. This is why I was trying to find a generic cap that would fit so I didn’t have to glue it directly onto the HRE cap. Once I glue the Corvette emblem on top of the HRE cap I don’t think you will be able to separate it.

I think RTV Silicone adhesive might do the trick. With a little work, you should be able to pop the cap off when needed.

Actually I went with a 3M double-sided 30lb black mounting tape. It’s really on there rock solid. It seems to be working fine and I will update with any problems. The only potential issue I can see is because the cap is not flush inside the wheel opening the possibility exists that someone could take their fingers and pry the cap off as one complete piece. You can remove the entire cap including the HRE cap it’s mounted to if you work at it. However since I no longer live in the hood in Southern California and am in more rural Indiana I don’t think it will be as much of an issue 🤣

[QUOTE=jovette;1603211552]I have the HRE FF11 Liquid Metal Wheels on my '21 Red Mist HTC and really like them EXCEPT the center cap hole is larger than the Corvette OEM wheel opening. [QUOTE]

Not to steal your thread, but when you get a chance please post your Red Mist car with the Liquid Metal wheels. A few of us really want to see this combo. Thanks

Default HRE FF11 w C8 Center Caps

Just got my FF11 and like you all wanted to put C8 center caps on them.....here is my solution: I had to do the same thing on my ZR1 when I when to HRE wheels, been four years with no issues. "O" rings cost $2.00 for 4 at my local ACE.
