February Allocations

First Cbrcr99, beautiful car...certainly one of my favorite colors, and the one I actually plan to spend my own money on...
Would you please share how you figure the spreadsheet missed your actual production by 4 weeks? Heck, back in mid December, the spreadsheet predicted it was going to be built the week of 3/29, which was actually 5 production weeks before VIN 12383 was built in the week of 4/26 (actual car built on 4/28). Of course, that was also before anyone, even GM, knew about the 17+ work days that would be lost due to parts shortages and weather that delayed over 3000 cars on anyone's spreadsheets, even the copies that every forum and facebook group has these days..
If we go to the first spreadsheet that was able to account for those unplanned zero production days, that I published on 3/2, the spreadsheet was projecting VIN 12383 to be produced during the week of 4/26. And every version that I spot checked between then and 4/28, had VIN 12383 being built the week of 4/26.
Since I had the data available, I also went back to the MM vins that were immediately before and after yours (built on the same day). They didn't go to 3300 until 4/8, so even GM didn't have your vin build date certain until 4/8. Yes, they had a pretty good idea, but until it reaches 3300, it is definitely changeable. Personally, I'm not sure a spreadsheet that can provide that data before even GM is certain is really that bad of a tool for us to use is it?
So beyond using a version of the spreadsheet that made projections prior to our knowledge of the shutdowns, would you please be so kind as to show me where the spreadsheet was in error by around 3600 cars? I spend a lot of time and effort to make it as accurate as it can be, and I truly want to understand how there could have been such an error.

it was my mistake. When I clicked on the spread sheet with my barbaric IPhone it showed I was on the last page of the thread. However it brought up the original spreadsheet not the updated version accounting for the delays. 100% my fault

Whew...glad that mystery is solved! I've been tearing my hair out trying to figure out how it could have been so wrong.... I've got quite a lot of formulas in the background, and just changing one thing can cause quite a chain reaction, and inject a lot of error, so I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. And I know my iphone does a lot of stupid stuff, so I wouldn't say it was much of a mistake on your end...And the important thing is you have your beautiful car....

So my TPW was for 5/10. Obviously plant is closed. So I thought I would call today to verify that my TPW had been moved to next week. However talking to concierge she has no clue. She shows that my TPW is still 5/10 and just advised I call back in 2 weeks to find out where my status is. Is anyone else getting the same info if you had a 5/10 TPW??

No VIN. When I went 3400 I asked CC and they didn't have any info. I thought about calling my dealer but they have been rather useless during this whole process and I didn't feel like being aggravated calling them only to be told BS.

3000 as well, no worries they still have like four more weeks to build February allocations, because of the shut down seems like the last build week for febs should be 6/7. So hopefully things go back to rolling Monday.
