Any regrets giving up your C7 for the C8
The C8 I have a deposit on will probably be produced in June. I have a C7 manual 3LT convertible that I have two offers on at my asking price but I'm torn on letting it go to make room for the new one. Has anyone had regrets giving up their previous Corvette for the C8.

Traded in C7 2018 GS that I loved everything about the car, took deliver of m C8 last April 10, 2020 with no regrets. 7500 mile and still enjoying it, just waiting to get out of hibernation

I miss swinging the rear end out so easy. Also miss the exhaust sound. Maybe it was the shaking through the center tunnel that I no longer experience. 😂😀 I will tell you what I miss the least. My auto in my 19GS especially on cold mornings hanging and slamming in low gears. Other than that I love everything about my C8 much more.

Manual C7. Yes I do miss a gear box, but I don't actively think about it all that much. I had no vette for a year from oct 2019 till oct 2020 while I waited on my c8, that is the part that sucked the most

I owned a C7 Z51 M7. I sold it the week before I picked up my C8 Z51. Zero regrets. The DCT is amazing.

I honestly must admit that I do miss my C7 but don't regret purchasing my C8. I still do like the looks of the C7 but the C8 is so much more refined. I feel that they're each in a class of their own.

I loved my C6 coupe. Put 56,000 miles on it and traded it in on a C6 GS.. BOY I LOVED THAT CAR. Put 66,000 miles on it. Both had Manual Transmissions. That’s really all I drove. Then I got a C7 coupe with manual. Funny how the same people on this forum told me how bad and ugly it was. I put 72,000 miles on that. I can honestly say it was the best of the 21 cars I ever owned. At the time of owning the C7 (with Z51 Option package) I owned 3 other cars.they were ok but not up to the quality and fun quotient of my C7. Dec. 1, 2020 we picked up my new Torch Red C8 at the National Corvette Museum. Just left Sebring Racetrack and went over 7,000 miles. This car takes Corvette to an entirely different level. My 2 cents worth is that it is the greatest car I can afford (even though I can’t afford it) LOL. Naysayers will be Naysayers. They will once again call me names but I don’t regret giving up my C7. It found a good home and maybe someday I’ll own another just for the nostalgia. Kinda like my desire for my old 68 GTO. Get this car and like Sachel Page once said: “Don’t look back”!

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! However this is a totally different car than the C7. Calling it a Corvette is great but this car is much more than that IMO. Worth every penny.
