I am painting the engine cover and it would be nice to drive and take my time painting. There is the sensor of some sort on the lower right side, it looks like an old school PCV valve. I'm chicken to try and get the evil E light..

No sensor and front clip that holds a hose should be OK with hose lose. I have a PDF for what is a simple mod. However two of the top Youtubes on a Gogglee Search did a job butchering removal of that hose clamp. One spent several minutes with 3 people making a mess and causing it to be sloppy when reinstalled. One mentioned the cover they installed "did not have the GM heat insulation." Heck it's NOT heat insulation it's for noise suppression.

Google is terrible, puts poor videos and posts on the top of searches where Google makes the most money selling ads! That's their business and ours to look past those top posts! Few do, why professional youtubers with stupid videos get to the top and make money!
