C8 HTC luggage options?
I was wondering (other than the OEM $$$ soft leather option - 2 bags) if someone has a suggestion for three quality soft luggage pieces?
and the ideal dimensions of these ?
we plan on doing plenty of road trips and the HTC luggage capacity was a big bonus

You Can Make Your Own Luggage
My wife and I take many road trips. To maximize luggage capacity, I purchased 2 of the largest suitcases that would qualify as airline carryon. I purchased red very similar to Torch Red.
The secret is to remove the wheels and handle. The cases are much roomier, lighter and smaller. If you have a hack saw, drill and a pop riveter you are golden. The suitcases are rivetted together. Drill out the rivets and remove the unnecessary bits and rivet back together. I paid $60 for the suitcases and they look fine.
I also made a suitcase sized for European carryon which is 2 inches less depth. My motivation was to save money. Previously I had flown to Dublin from Southampton UK with Ryan Air. My suitcase cost more than I did!
When our local Corvette dealer showed our club the new convertible, I brought all 3 suitcases and found that they easily fit in the two trunks.

Someone else recommended this bag from REI, I haven’t tried it though. They said 2 of them fit very nicely in the trunk.

We bought the two wheeled bags and the briefcase in the photo shown here: https://www.corvetteblogger.com/2019...e-luggage-set/

Melting Slicks
The six pieces they show fit obviously but may be tight when stuffed with real clothing instead of balloons. We got one of the carry ons and the back pack to go with a BMW branded carry on. The carry on will fit nicely on their side and the back pack will stand or lay on its side. For our museum delivery, we only took the carry on, back pack, small bag for purchases, and a small cooler. The cooler went in the frunk and all the rest fit easily in the trunk.

Le Mans Master
We travel with four 10x10x20 inch soft duffels. One is a motel bag with wife’s cosmetics and other needed assorted sundries. One is a bag with clothes for three or so days. Those are the two you need to take in with you each day. the other two are folded/rolled clothes. They can stay in the car until you need to refill the three day bag.
You are going to do laundry during a road trip. No big deal
The smaller bags are easier to carry and lighter than a larger, loaded bag.
