When I was tracking Cooper when we could last year, they had 1 truckload per week to central/west coast and one to east coast and South Florida.
It all depends on whether your car is pulled for a QC hold. Mine got pulled and it took another 3 weeks.

Will likely go to Dyer for service. Prefer them to the other local dealers.

C8broughtmeback, I do a lot of things that baffle people. Like paying 5 times the money to buy made in USA products instead of imported stuff. I am a relationship guy. If was staying in NJ I would have used Kerbeck. I am not sure if I put a deposit with them in April if it would have been sooner or later. Of course I am glad that I don’t have to go up in the snow to pickup, pay for a courtesy delivery or pay a shipper. To each his own. That’s why the cars aren’t all black like Henry Ford wanted.

I will post when I get it and let you know how it goes.
I appreciate that you are trying to purchase the car from where it will be serviced. In my experience, it is a misconception that this plays any role in level of service. I have purchased new cars from German, Japanese, and American manufacturers. The Service Departments could care less where you purchased the car. Their level of service is 80% based on their DNA, 10% on your personality and 10% on which way the wind is blowing.

I purchased a C7 Z06 from Kerbeck and have it serviced in Western PA. They could give a rat's a$$ where I bought it. Especially if you tip the Service Advisor and Mechanic for any special care.

You likely are purchasing from a dealer that has very few, or no allocations.

Congrats on your HTC! I’m in New Smyrna Beach. If all goes well, my HTC is going from BG to Ohio to NSB.

Where in NSB are you? I’m over on the Beach side east of Peninsula Ave. Maybe we could meet up and compare HTCs once they finally arrive.

Sounds good. I suspect you’ll get yours before I get mine since mine has to go to Ohio first. I’ll PM you when mine finally gets down here.

Just got word it’s on a truck as of yesterday heading this way, probably 2-3 days. My luck will come on Sunday during Super Bowl, and it will be raining, seems every car I get it rains on delivery day!

You can order a TAG for a current car then transfer it once you have your C8 otherwise you need to wait 10-30 days after receiving your car. That's how long it will take to register your car in Florida (it must be in the system) then you can issue a personalized tag for your new C8. Plus, it takes 6-8 weeks to get the TAG... nothing related with the C8 has instant gratification!

Just got off the phone with the concierge. I was told no cars were shipped this week because of the plant shutdown. When I posted a question about shipping while the plant was closed, I was told shipping would still carry on. Obviously there’s some conflicting info out there.

According to the concierge, tentative plans are to start shipping cars again on 2/8. With the plant closed for a second week, could this mean the shipping won’t resume until 2/15?

What a CF this whole experience has become!

Sure hope the weather cooperates
