It Was Nice While It Lasted... They're Everywhere Now !
I got my C8 the day after Thanksgiving... For the first 6 weeks or so I rarely saw any other C8's which is pretty cool.. I just ran out to pick up some lunch about 4 miles away and I saw 2 C8's, Zeus Bronze and LBR. I live on the East coast of North Central Florida between Daytona and St Augustine and every day so far this week I've seen at least one if not two C8's. I'm not at all surprised or personally disappointed because I probably see 6 or 10 Vettes of all years every time I leave the house and I fully expected C8's to be everywhere. I bought my C8 to enjoy top cruising and I absolutely love this car but anyone who buys a C8 thinking it will somehow be rare or unique is setting them self up to be disappointed...
IMO the novelty days of being one of very few with a C8 are all but over and I suspect that the price gouging is going to come to a crashing halt now that they are pumping these things out like Hershey Kisses...

Daily production of Hershey Kisses is 70,000,000 according to Hershey. Daily production of the C8 is about 180 per day. BTW, the Bowling Green Assembly Plant is closing next week due to parts shortages.

Depends where you live (I live an hour south of Boston MA, or an hour and half east of Hartford, CT, or three hours north of New York City). I’ve only seen two C8’s on the road in the last 15 months. That’s right, two (not counting my own).

Maybe in Florida. I live in the Bay Area and in the last year I have only seen 2 on the road.
Out here the most common car is Tesla.

I actually do enjoy seeing them out on the road... The C8 is a true work of art that needs to be seen in person and they look and sound even better when moving...

Yeah, pretty much EVERYWHERE, 27,300 is one hundredth of a percent of the 273 million registered cars in the USA. ONE HUNDREDTH of a percent.

We saw (and waved to) three other C8's, several C7's and a smattering of earlier gens during our drive last Saturday. Many were taking advantage of a rare dry and sunny January day here (north of Seattle). Yes, more sightings, but we still say to ourselves..."wow, there is another C8!" -Rick
