Default 3500 Mile Review

There have already been many reviews on the C8 but if this helps anyone make a choice or decision thats all this is for. Is the car worth waiting for ? yes it was and I hate waiting but it is still worth it.I got a 2LT because it offered the most safety features. I got the GT2 seats because they are supposed to be the most comfortable, I don't have any other C8 seats to compare them to but they are good.I took delivery at the NCM and drove almost 2400 miles home and felt good. The square steering wheel took about 5 minutes to get used to and now I find it very nice. The trunk and frunk are both very useable. The mag ride is very nice to be able to adjust your ride. The front lift that I wished I could have canceled is awesome and one of my favorite options.I put on the front radiator screens they really are necessary and GM should have put them on the car. Some people don't care about MPG but Im not one of them.Going 75mph I got 28mpg and at 65mph I got 35mpg pretty amazing for a 500 HP car.Launch control can best be described in two words holy crap , what a little rocket , it sometimes makes me a little light headed. My best 0-60 is 2.6 how accurate I don't know but thats what the screen said. Most of the time its in the 2.8 range. The handling of the car is fantastic, the traction is great. My grand-kids say it feels like a really fast roller coaster.Other cars Ive owned in the last 20-25 years for comparison are a BMW M Roadster, BMW 335i , Lexus SC 430 , PORSCHE 911 TWIN TURBO , and CORVETTE ZO6/z07 . In conclusion I believe this is the best all around car and value I have ever had. Maybe this will help somebody.

Thanks for the review. Just curious did you install the screens before you left for home.

I drove my C8 home (550 miles) from the museum yesterday. I put the novistretch bra on the car at the museum and had not problem with any damage to the radiators. I plan to put the screens on the front and side this spring before I start driving the car.
