Anyone get the transparent top w rapid blue??? Can you post a real pic to show me how it looks? I’m nervous it’s going to look weird but I really like the light coming in constantly and the openness it brings. Thanks!
Personally, the transparent top looks weird on every color except black because the side spears are not body color, unlike my visible carbon fiber top that has color matched side spears. If you like the transparent top, get it and have matching vinyl applied to the side spears or have them painted.

The other option is to wrap the pillars and roof black but either option is better than nothing with the transparent roof...
Transparent top has slightly more headroom for helmet. So I had them swap it on, I preferred the carbon fiber top looks.
ya baby. #26 coming out of the bowl. That’s the same car I drove at Ron Fellows last month. I don’t think I ever got the front airborne but it sure got light at the 3-4 shift on that spot. Killer pic! You must have been really going hard to get that air.
...and for the OP, not a clear top but #26 has a fiber top with color matched rails. Here’s a better angle.
This is one of the few glaring design oversights on the C8. The transparent roof should have had body color painted “spears” like the carbon fiber roof. IMHO, the lack there of really breaks up the sweeping lines of the roof. From a fabrication standpoint, I get that that the two are very different animals. OP, personally I’d get the body colored roof...especially if you park outside in the Summer. I had one on a previous gen Vette and here in Chicago (not Miami or Houston), the interior was always warm in the Summer.
In ny so not terribly worried about the sun. I’m going to go w transparent since I love sunroof look. If it’s too hot then I’ll either get a shade or buy the painted roof. No reason to play what if’s, I can always buy the other roof if need be so I have a back up plan
Walter have you identified a wrap product and color for Arctic White?
My build is white with the transparent top so I have planned to wrap the side edges and having that would help me
These are both popular matches for wrapping the side rails on a transparent roof to Arctic White.
Avery Supreme 101 Gloss White or 3M G10 Gloss White 1080 Series.
@COTAODEN I found a shop online that sells 12 oz aerosol cans of primer, rapid blue paint, and overcoat. Cost was 63 dollars for all shipped free. I reached out to a few car detailers and either they don’t care Bc of how small the project is or they state it’s impossible to match a vinyl w rapid blue
