Dang! Your 50th Vette?

I suddenly feel like a newbie. I am only on my sixth Vette over the last 23 years.

I'll be 70 this year. It will be the 50th Corvette I've owned. I've had as many as 8 at one time, down to just 3 now but the 2019 Z06 is going when the C8 gets here.

I bought my first one when I was 14, it was a beat out 56 that I had to pull out of a field with a tractor.

Interested to hear which ones have been your favorite and what are the other 2 that you are keeping?

I usually say that my favorite one is my next one . The one that gives me the least problems is always a favorite. I have had a few that I was not fond of and one in particular that I was very disappointed with and only kept it less that a year. It was a C7 Z06 "757" I had talked about it in another thread and not going to rehash it here.

As for the keepers Mrs. Karen's 60 and the 67.

One of thimes we had more than a couple

The 60 is an absolute beautiful car. 67 big block is hard to beat. My 1st vette was a 73 that I bought when I was 18. Complete basket case. I rebuilt everything on that car and I had a “special connection” with it. There was always something going on with it but I had a blast with it. My c7 z06 I just traded in on my 19zr1 was another of my favorites. I started doing road courses with that car and taught my son to drive stick with it. The 63 red on red split I had is the only one I’ve owned that I regret selling. So far I’m in love with my zr1. Hope to own it for a long time. Still not a fan of the c8 although it is growing on me.

Wow, nice build...almost identical to mine (natural, not dipped). Mine will be my 10th...hopefully by next Summer.

Doing well, thanks, hope you and Susan are well.
