C8 mark up when does it end?!
I知 in the market for a C8. I would love to own one used. I have se aside $50,000 to buy one used. I remember about 3 model years in the C7 generation was about when they were selling for that price used, but with decent options. I知 wondering if that値l be about the same time frame for the C8? I really hope I can find one late next year for $50,000, I知 willing to buy one with 20-30,000 miles. I just want this car and that is the most I知 willing to spend. My question is when does this mania of these selling for $25k over msrp end?!

Mark ups end when supply and demand reach equilibrium. Economics 101.
Best guess is that's not likely to happen for another year, but supply may continue to be a problem due to the pandemic. On the other hand, we're in danger of entering a deep recession for the same reason, which would suppress demand.
Thus, there are a lot of variables that are impossible to predict.

You might be able to get a high mileage 1LT Coupe in that range when the Z06痴 start rolling off the line.

Owners of a 2020 who purchased a 2022 Z06 will be selling their 2020's in 2022, and the price will be lower for a 2020 then, not before. By June 2022 there be over 50,000 C-8 2020 and 2021 and a few 2022 will be built, and to buy used. Good Luck

People said the same thing about owners of C7s trading in for the C8, but C7 supplies are low as well. People are forgetting that this new redesigned model are bringing 2 new class of buyers into the market, and most have never step foot into a Chevrolet dealership before, or even looked at the Corvette. There's a tremendous influx of new Corvette buyers and that increased demand coupled with limited supply due to COVID will have these vehicles priced at MSRP or above for at least another year is my guess. A $50,000 C8 might come across in 2 years, but it wont be loaded.

In mid 2019 you could get a 1LT GS new for around 56k. Now guys are selling 2017痴 for that amount. Supply and demand.
The car market in general is strange right now.

Where are you seeing this, other than maybe BJ or Mecum?
I知 not following every single sale out there, but it looks like maybe $10k over is the market for 2020 coupes, slightly higher for HTC. These dreamers listing at $15k-25k over must think it痴 March still.
Barring any new scamdemics, months-long strikes, etc., the C8 market will be at msrp by the end of 2021 model year.

Covid and a Strike have resulted in 50-60% fewer C8’s produced than GM planned which will have a affect on the used market for sometime to come. That said you may find a high mileage one for $50K or less in 12-18 months. Patience
