Phillips Chevy Frankfurt, Il THANK YOU SO MUCH for my New C8
I want to give a shout out for Phillips Chevy in Frankfort, Il, especially to Mike Maheras, GM and Mike Stramaglia my Sales Coordinator.
I dealt with Mike Maheras back in 2015, he was instrumental in helping me buy a new 2015 Z06, after the FIRST 2015 Z06 I bought elsewhere, was bought back by GM for defect issues.
Mike worked with me on pricing, assissted me with the GM rep, and gave me a nice price as well, and delivered the new Z06 to me as a courtesy, I live 75 miles north of Phillips.
Now comes 2019 and the new C8 has been revealed, and the order books opened.I was driving a Mercedes E63S AMG. I spoke with Mike Maheras late last summer 2019 and he told me I'd better hurry, allocatations are being gobbled up, if i want to buy one. Mike told me the cost was MSRP for the C8. I checked around and other dealers were taking deposits, stating there will be " market adjustments " at delivery.
I ended up ordering my C8 in FEBRUARY 2020, and Mike Stramaglia worked hard to help me order it " my way "
And then COVID HIT, but Phillips did not miss a step ! Mike Stramaglia kept me in the loop during the COVID shut downs, providing me status whenever I asked.
Phillips took my trade in based off of photos I sent, and gave me an acceptablle offer.
Mike Stramaglia personally delieverd my new C8 TODAY to me at my home, as a courtesy, and to make this transaction as safe as possible at this time.
Paper work was all in order, there were zero issues on pricing, trade ins, finance amount.... ALL EXACTLY AS NEGOTIATED.
Phillips Chevy is a stand up company, with old world values regarding customer service. I've bought and sold 13-14 new corvettes since 2005, and I will say Phillips made this transaction the best EVER !
I hope to buy a " Zora " when they come out, and I can tell you PHILLIPS will be the place I go !!
It’s nice to hear praise about a dealer experience considering what we usually hear are the horror stories of “market adjustment” prices being thrust upon the buyer when their car comes in.

I ordered my 2021 Corvette from Phillips Chevy on October 1, 2020. This is the 3rd Corvette I have ordered from them. I've never had any trouble with them at all. I'm curious to see how long it will take for me to receive the 2021 Corvette.
I live in Frankfort and ordered from Ohio simply because they blew me off. I've never ordered a corvette so I'm sure they want to take care of their repeat customers, nonetheless they will probably get to service it.
I hope to get my 2021 HTC that was a 2020 I ordered pretty soon.... just went to 3100.
Bought my C8 HTC from Gerry Lane Chevrolet in Baton Rouge.
My Salesperson was Diane Trask. She was great throughout the whole process.
I was one of those who kept changing my Order. I think I did five 'revisions' while I was at 1100.
Paid MSRP as promised + $200 Doc Fee and $15 Notary Fee. That's it. They didn't try to upsell me on anything.
When I arrived to pickup the Car the entire process was the quickest ever, and I've purchased numerous new Cars over the years.
I believe they only had 25 Allocations or so. My HTC came in two weeks ago after a 15 Month wait.
