Just Love the Torch Red C8's!
So happy to contribute to this thread! I had mine get paint correction, ppf, and creamic coated from Esoteric in New Albany Ohio. They also did my C7 a few years ago. They put on my carbon flash extended mudflap and rockers as well.
My build - 2022 HTC Z51 3LT, Mag Ride, Carbon Fiber Interior Trim, Bright Red Calipers, Two Tone Seats, Red Stitching. Here she is -
The cleanest.
Shot of the extended CF Mudflaps and CF painted black rockers.
Just enough red.

Who makes the CF mudflaps and the CF painted black rockers on yours? Were those GM Accessories or another company?

Thank you! I played with the corvette configurations online forever while waiting to put my order in, and I couldn't be happier. ACS Composite supplies the rockers. They are OEM rockers that they paint Carbon flash. Such a nice touch over the standard flat black rockers. The mudflaps are from Extreme Online Store, and they call them Spash Guards. The guards will protect while still adding just a bit of aggression and style to the profile. I wanted them CF if they were going to stick out. Esoteric put ceramic on the accessories, too.

Greetings, non-Corvette owner here but am lining up my ducks to order one when my current car (G70 twin-turbo) is paid-off. I signed up to start doing my research, even though I'm a couple of years out, but I figure that it'll take 6-12 months once I order it. I have a practical question though; there's a perception that torch red gets excess attention from law-enforcement- have you folks found that to be true? I'm not a crazy driver, but there are times when I'll accelerate N mph over the speed limit for brief periods if I need to pass and resume quickly. Obviously, torch red anything is going to get a lot of attention, and with a car as beautiful and as sleek as a Corvette, that attention will be magnified. So enlighten me, do you guys get pulled over a lot (even if it's just a warning?)

I hope I don't jinx myself but I've only been pulled over in one of my Corvettes once. I was on a street leading to a subdivision I was living in driving my C5 and stomped it when I turned onto that road. There was a slight hill and I saw the lights on top of the police cruiser coming at me so I slammed on my brakes. I was running 92MPH when I hit the brakes but I knew he had me so I pulled over, got out my license, registration, insurance card, and waited. He pulled up behind me and said "I guess you know why I pulled you over?" I said "I have no doubts, Officer." He took all of my documents back to his car and when he came back he told me that he knew why people buy these cars and preceded to tell me a location west of my subdivision where people take sports cars to have some spirited drives. All there were out there are cornfields and long straight highways and he told me if I screwed up while driving a farmer would probably find me - eventually. He then gave me a warning - 49 in a 35 but told me he clocked me at 58. I thanked him profusely and we parted ways. I've never done anything like that again.

I had an 1971 Ontario Orange Corvette coupe back in the 70's and one day I was out enjoying it. Suddenly I noticed the flashing lights of a police cruiser behind me, so I pulled into the nearest parking lot. Not sure why I was being pulled over because I wasn't speeding. I thought maybe one of my taillights were out. So I got out my drivers license and registration and waited for the officer to let me know what was the problem. When I asked him, he just said, I didn't do anything wrong. He just liked my car and wanted to check it out so he decided to pull me over. I was obviously very relieved. Lol. We ended up having a great conversation in the parking lot for about 20 minutes. I let him sit in it and start it up and then we talked a lot about how cool Corvettes were. I could tell he was a real car guy. So even police officers enjoy nice cars!
