Default Ron Fellows cars

The last time I went to RF i was driving a C7 with Z-51 as my own vette, RF put me in a car with the same specs. My C8 won't have the Z-51 package. With all the talk about needing Z-51 for tracking will they put me a Z-51 or will I be in the non Z-51 Baby Class?

I believe in the C7 all “Stingrays” were Z51’s so it was a matter of Stingray, Grand sport or Z06. I can’t see the benefit of having non Z51 cars on the track at Spring Mountain given they know what they are going to put them through.

Correct. Currently all C8s @ Spring Mountain are Z51 optioned cars. For the C7s, they had Z51 Stingrays, Grand Sports, Z06s, and perhaps ZR1s. I know they had both automatics and manual transmission equipped cars for the Stingrays, GS, and Z06s, and again, not sure about the ZR1s.

Stingray Z51 I believe all are 3LT. Most have very nice options too. Which is nice when you're coming from a 3LT car. Lots of fun!

Cannot comprehend why some folks buy a high performance car without selecting options that maximize performance. 🧐 YMMV.

Cheers!
