Accessory Storage - JackPads/Lug Guide/Tow...
I purchased a plastic box at Walmart to hold my Elite Engineering Jack Pads(4), Fred's Lug Guides (3), GM Tow Eye, GM locking Lug Key & 4 spares. NOTE: After consideration, I moved the Tow Eye and Plastic Tool to the Driver's Door Pocket. In the advent of an accident (hope never, but...), may not be able to open Frunk or Trunk, so best access is inside (Door or Glove Box,...) Chose door for now. The other items in the box should not require access during restricted events. Also, I originally had this box in the Frunk, but decided to relocate it aft.

I could see that sliding around a lot back there and clanking together. Good idea though. I would wrap them with microfiber towels if they make noise. Probably won't hear them over the exhaust though

To keep them from sliding around, put the tray in the cargo net (in either the trunk or frunk). They come with 2LT and 3LT and can be purchased for the 1LT owners out there. About $80 for the two of them.

I have the both cargo nets (LT2). In the frunk, size is perfect and wont didn't move. In Rear, anti-slip mat underneath. Should not be a factor unless coupe top is inside.

My Reverse Logic jack pads came with their own storage case:

I was going to get his, but after finding out that none (Elite Eng, Rev Logic...) have a tight fit 1/4" (Washer removed from Fred's) to 1/2" (EE) minus apx 1/8" C8 frame, I felt EE was best factoring in cost. I assume manufacturing doesn't allow closer unless made from a cast and that requires enormous quantity to break even.

I understand your logic in placing the tow eye someplace accessible but I would not want to have that very hefty and solid tow eye bouncing around freely in the passenger compartment during a serious wreck. And it will if placed in the driver side door. And I would say in a wreck bad enough to prevent you from opening the frunk it's quite possible the tow eye socket may not be usable. I view my toe eye as insurance mainly if I break down. YMMV.

I haven't finalized the location yet. Possibly the glove box. Just too lazy tired this afternoon to open the passenger side. Lol
