Baby was born -- Think I will name it Donkey
Why, you may well ask, would anyone in their right mind name a beautiful Corvette "Donkey"?
Actually, I have two reasons. And, no, one of them is not political.
The minor reason is that I think the new C8 is very special and unique. Just like one of my all time favorite movie characters -- Donkey from the Shrek movies.
The major reason is that I ordered the car just after the initial reveal. Then I upgraded to an HTC the day after that was revealed. It was originally scheduled to be produced the second week of HTC production, but for some reason it was done two months after the restart -- a total of a 14 mont wait. Which just happens to be the gestation period (conception to birth) of, you guessed it, a donkey.

Never understood why people name their vehicles.

Hey, it’s your car, Donkey will work! My first Vette (C3) was named OldRed, as it was red. My 4th Vette (C6) was Blue, hence OldBlue. My new one is technically red (more maroon), so I’m going to name it OldBlue#2. Go figure.

I named my C7Z "whyte out" (yes i spelled white that way on purpose).
And it's not like my entire car is white. I mean the car is white but i have black/cf accents. But i remember someone told me, "damn dude your car is like.........really white".
So i figure just call it whyte out lol

Donkey is good but maybe consider Donkey Kong because the car is a beast, like King Kong.
my blue ‘66 is called the Widow Maker, named by the previous owner who did a frame-off restoration into a hot rod. 427, 400+ HP, M22 Rockcrusher, 355 gears. Yeah, it can make somebody a widow. Nothing wrong with naming a car.

But really nothing beats the iconic "eleanor" from gone in 60 seconds. That name, for that car, the whole story of that movie, it was EPIC!

Some names can be appropriate. My ex-wife named my first true love car "The Other Woman". It has carried over to every favorite car I have had since then.
