Bloomberg rates C8 worst interior of 2020
Has this been posted already? I didn’t see it, but Bloomberg has the C8 as one of the cars with the worst interior of 2020?
QTE
Why it’s bad: This take is going to be polarizing—the C8 is a great driving car—but then, the interior itself is polarizing. Literally. Witness the massive, curved divider that runs straight through the middle of the car. Lined with buttons and covered in low-grade leather, it looks like a part of the command helm on the starship Enterprise.
This effect is bad for two reasons. First, it means there’s no flow, no fluidity, in the space between the driver and passenger, which ruins any attempt at harmony within the car. You’ll never be able to reach over and squeeze your driving partner’s knee or use the buttons on the angled center dashboard screen while the car is being driven. Second, those dozens of buttons along the interior walls, dashboard, and dividers feel out of step with current themes and with much of the luxury segment, where brands like Mercedes-Benz and Rolls-Royce brag about how many interior ***** and switches they’re removing—at customer request.

Hopefully GM will get the message about "The Great Wall" and fix it before the Z06 and Grand Sport arrive!

They won't, let it go. What would the argument be for the change, sales are suffering because of it? Oh, Bloomberg thinks a sports car interior should look like one in a Rolls Royce? Talk about verification that they are out in left field. Maybe we should post every single review that praises the interior, or should those be dismissed because they don't fit your agenda?

C8 has that spine for structure. If they went carbon tub and no spine like Ferrari, this car would start at 95k or even 6 figures.

There is nothing made that somebody won't bitch about. Some would look at a light and airy F355 interior and call it boring. The C8 interior is what it is, it hasn't slowed sales, those that own it and live with it love it. I have squeezed my wife's leg multiple times with zero issue.

It a driver focused interior for sure and it's a sports car. The overall materials and features are clearly high quality and well done.
The flipside of not having buttons is you have to use a touchscreen to do everything, which I hate. I much prefer having tactile buttons, and with muscle memory I don't have to take my eyes off the road to navigate a touchscreen to do something like turn on a seat heater, or adjust the temperature of the AC.
I don't love the wall of buttons, and as a passenger the C8 is really not a great place to be, but saying it has the worst interior of any car in 2020 seems like a clickbait article to get views.

I actually like the great wall. I sat in the C8 last year and it just made me happy. My wife sat in it and she was happy. My oldest son sat in it and he was happy. Everyone was happy. Whoever did the review at Bloomberg is just an unhappy person and that's just too bad. We should send our sympathies.

I read there article today. I don't think the author had sat, or driven, any of the vehicles they mentioned.

Melting Slicks
Then those who don't like it does not have to buy one. But I do miss the little hidden box behind the screen in my C7, great place to put my Glock 27.

I love this quote by the educated dipshit that wrote the article "Thankfully, a side blind zone alert system comes standard. You’ll need it. " Stupid ***, doesn't know anything at all about the car, just a moron.
