Brake Sensor problem only 38 C-8's involved
According to Corvette Blogger ( 9-28-20) only 38 or 39 C8's are involved in the Brake Sensor problem and all have Vin's below 3000. I think cars with those Vin numbers should all be at home with their new owners.

"...should all be at home..." Yeah, I think you got that part right!

Don't know what Corvette Blogger's source is, but that's possible false. According to Car & Driver:
"GM's recall says that the problem affects 674 of the 2020 Corvettes, as well as an undisclosed number of 2021 model Cadillac CT4, CT5 and XT4 vehicles, 2020 and 2021 Buick Encore GXs, and 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazers. The recall and stop-sale covers vehicles on dealer lots, in transit, and already in customers' driveways".

The 39 cars are CTF cars sitting in Warren or some under 3000 VINS that are at dealers or in transit. There is a full list someone released on FB and this forum.
There are many under VIN 39XX cars that will be recalled. I did a rough check of some of the JC transports I was tracking when my car was delivered since I had the full VINS. Roughly 30% of these that I checked are on the GM recall site. So I think the 700 number is more accurate. Some of the VINS I saw -- 2842 (mine), 2947,2962, 3231, 3360. So the parts are obviously older boost modules from early production run.

the question wasn’t referencing a vin number under 3000-my production number is 3400-scheduled for build-does this recall affect these cars???

My VIN is in the recall, 2995. I have 3 ,000 trouble free miles. Have not heard from the dealer yet. Parts not available yet.

As I reported in another similar thread, this number is false. The correct number is currently 674 cars. It is uncertain as the factory chose not to stop production whether any further VINs will be added.
