Default 9/27/2020* C8 fever all over the USA loaded with delivery pics*Mike Furman@Criswell*

~Every second of every minute of every hour is filled with Corvette talk...and that's ok with me. People call up my desk direct line and are surprised that I answer the phone
or that I call back for that matter. Every generation change is intensive time-wise with deliveries and orders, the internet is just like gas on a fire and you just adapt the best you can.
The Corvette generation changes are cyclical in that way so after my 5th generation change of selling Corvettes I find that my experience certainly is a big help with my daily work.
You don't sell the number of vehicles per day like I do unless you are good at multi-tasking. It helps to be a Corvette enthusiast and having owned 21 Corvettes over the past 43 years.
As a former athlete, I do the best I can every day.

~The National Corvette Museum debuted the new 2021 Corvette color this past week...Red Mist Tintcoat.

~October 8th-11th I will be out at Spring Mountain in Pahrump, Nevada for my Corvette Furman C8 driving experience. The class is full, 20 of my Corvette
customers from all over the USA, many of them I have never met before. Look for a few more future dates in 2021!

~Ron Fellows and I at the 2011 24 hrs of Lemans Race in France.

~It's a good thing that the C8 Corvettes that travel by train go like the top picture and not the 50-year-old picture below!

...currently...

and 50 years ago...

~Some C8 deliveries this past week...

~Ms. Edie H. of Canfield, OHIO sought me out to place her 2020 Corvette factory order and Friday was the delivery day at the National Corvette Museum. Edie ordered a Loaded Hardtop convertible in Long Beach Red metallic with a two-tone Black/ red interior. Edie has owned several Corvettes but she couldn’t wait for this new C8 HTC! Equipment list: 3LT pkg, Competition seats, CF dual racing stripes, front lift, edge res calipers, magnetic ride, CF Painted wheels, visible CF exposed weave grille, cf painted mirrors/ spoiler, Z51 pkg, red stitching, visible CF mirror caps and much more...much much more as she clicked off almost every LPO.

~Mike and Pamela S of Milton, DE split time down in Naples, Florida, and most likely this New Corvette will see plenty of Sun in Florida! This is their 5th Corvette. Mike chose Sebring Orange with Natural interior and 2LT with Z51 pkg. Equipment list: GT 2 seats, CF Full stripes, magnetic ride, microfiber seat inserts and steering wheel, CF Painted wheels, black stingray center caps, engine appearance pkg, and orange seat belts. Mike and Pam were thrilled with their new Corvette as they drove it home yesterday!

~Zach L. of Portland, Oregon reached out to me to place his special order Corvette to be picked up at the National Corvette Museum...Wednesday was the delivery day! Zach ordered an Arctic White Z51 coupe with Adrenaline red two-tone interior.
Equipment list...Loaded! 3LT pkg, front lift, magnetic ride, bright red calipers, spectra gray wheels, engine appearance pkg, torch red seat belts, and much more!

~Jonathan B. of Old Tappan, New Jersey is from my home area and Monday he drove down an Enterprise rental 4 hours to take delivery of his 4th Corvette! Jon ordered a Torch Red 2020 Z51 Stingray coupe with a black interior, magnetic ride, and 1LT pkg.
Great guy that plans on many Father/son rides.

~Local businessman took delivery of this stunning Blade Silver 2020 Corvette.

~Larry B. of Maryland recently shared his pictures from his delivery day of his brand new 1967 Corvette. Larry and I worked together in the 1990s. Great car guy.

~The Frank Class Corvette barn find and throwback section...post up your favorite picture this week.

Have a great week!

Thanks for sharing. The C8 is a game changer for GM I just wish they were as creative with the color choices.

As always, cool stories and pics. Too many nice cars to pick an absolute favorite but you can never go wrong with a great shot of a SWC. Thanks Mike.

Hey Mike! Love seeing the smiling faces of all the new C8 owners and how they spec them out! Edie really loaded hers up! Would love to see it up close with all that VCF! Mike and Pamela S. spec'd out a Sebring Orange Beauty and are picking it up just in time for Halloween too! If you could give me Mike's address I would send him a Corvette shirt LOL!

Love this 1972 LT-1! I hear it is pretty rare with A/C (only available on 1972 LT-1's) and Blue on Blue! May the new owner drive her in good health!

Have a great Sunday Mike!

Thank you very much Mike for this Sunday’s (alway fun) delivery thread. It is always nice to see the older Corvettes and the new delivery pictures and stories — and to see more new ones heading to their new owners. Thank you very much!
