As long as the OP is happy and understands there will be far fewer buyers for the odd mix of colors (by your own rationale) if he decides to sell down the road.
I like it in this color and will not order it in any other way. My first choice was the typical dark gray with two tone red interior, silver stripes and red calipers which would be a safe choice for someone but I'm glad I got what I did. It's a headturner and doesn't feel out of place parked beside my memphis red mclaren 720s.

Would like to hear a review from a 720 owner on the car! Are you impressed with the car given you are used to the much much more expensive 720?

I actually didn't expect the C8 to be this great! It is a highway cruiser vs a racecar feel of the 720s. My first impression is: it is a keeper since it performs well than expected. The design is a class act. The GM engineers thought of everything from the frunk to the rear luggage compartment. The frunk issue is I believe user error as it has a secondary lock just like my mac. no need for any manual secondary latch. It works as it is supposed to. Ride of the C8 is plush and comfortable with the MRC. In terms of speed, I have not tested it yet as it is still in break-in period. The design, build and sound proofing is better than the mac which is biased for weight savings. The fit and finish of the 3LT is comparable with the mac especially with the "alcantara/suede" leather surface. It is very nice I actually love it! With GM reliability, no wonder it is a hit. Maintenance is expected to cost less with the C8, my 720s annual service cost me $2600.00. Start up sound of the corvette is loud, a good thing! In sport or track mode, it breathes easier but would love to have more seat time with the C8. My 720s is a garage queen, so not much of speed drama. Just enjoying the technology of both machines. With the NA engines of the C8, it will be bulletproof as it's operating temperature will be less than a turbocharged engine. The mobil 1 0w/40 should perform and last longer too. I'll update more later. So far it's been fun driving it.

I like a sleeper, silver, black interior, red stitching, red calipers, that's it.

You should have had someone who isn't color blind help you order your car.

The exterior colors are all something I might chose. Nicely done.

sblvro, In one of your posts before you picked up your c8, you wrote:
The console is black unlike most red seats combo.
On one of the images of your car at the NCM, I can see that the center column and door panels are actually red. Just curious, who made a mistake: you ordering a wrong configuration or the factory building your order. I’m just curious what happens when a factory makes such mistake. Im a bit worried here as I ordered the same black Alcantara with red seat bolsters (red seat belts) and would never accept the red leather panels!

I believe it was the factory build's mistake. I paid for the color override change. But after seeing it in person, the red was actually nicely done.

Since black Alcantara is a more expensive option, did you get a refund (not to mention a compensation for such error!)
